It was very obvious as a customer that there was a great level of dysfunction all the way up to the managerial level
Some people were waiting 5-10 minutes at the entrance before a host would appear.
To preface this, we interacted with our server a total of 3 times. Drink order, food order, check/how was everything/refill#1. We didn't see him to flag him down in between visits either.
My wife and I were seated almost immediately, but 15-20 minutes passed before we saw anyone to take our drink orders (water). It wasn't until we received our checks that I was offered a refill, despite finishing the drink almost immediately upon receiving.
After ordering, another 20 minutes passes by. During this time nearby customers were leaving out of frustration, wait times, and lack of service. A customer within earshot could be heard complaining that their meals were all cold, but that they didn't have time to wait another 40 minutes for food.
My table's order arrives via a server other than our own. At this point we assume our elusive server went home. This server was visibly tense (the others also seemed stressed).
Our food was subpar, especially considering the wait time. Pancakes that were so overcooked I needed a steak knife to cut them. Pancakes were also lukewarm. The omelette was reasonably warm but lacked flavor. My wife's chicken biscuits and gravy was also lukewarm in the middle, as though it had been microwaved. The hash browns on both of our plates however, was fresh and steaming hot.
The redeeming factor, apart from one fresh side dish, was the cashier at the front. She was the only person (including staff visible in the kitchen) that moved with any sense of urgency, and she was moving with haste enough for the rest of the employees, bouncing between register and training some poor young lad who has obviously never held a job before, working meticulously but slowly as a bus boy.
Never once did I see a managerial staff checking up with the customer's dining experience. As they say, a manager who can never leave the kitchen has control over nothing in...

Read moreWas picking up an order and there was no one in the lobby. There were 3 groups waiting to be seated. After waiting 5 minutes I asked one of the waiting customers if it would be appropriate for me to stick my head around the corner to see if there was anyone available. That group left to go elsewhere as did another group. I looked around the corner where an older lady was working and when I started to speak she waved me off and said she was busy. I tried speaking again and she waved me off and said she was busy again. I spoke over her and said I was just asking for some help because there was a lobby full of people. She did go ask for help and the lady that came out asked what I needed and I said I was waiting for a door dash order but I'm not sure if it's started or if you have the order. She stated they only have 2 servers and they are very busy. (Mind you there were 4 maybe 5 tables of people 3 of which were waiting to pay) she then went to the back and proceed to talk about how rude I am and "make fun of" me (for lack of a better phrase). When she brought the food out she literally just tossed it on the shelf and walked away.
Last week while picking up an order I overhead who I assume was a manager talking about how they needed more customers, well this isn't how...
