We've done a few Escape rooms now. Black Bayou was our first ever and it was a great experience. Challenging in all the right ways. The time and creativity that clearly goes into the rooms, decore and puzzles is evident. It's clear they care and no detail is overlooked. My ultimate favorite part is . . . Ugh, I want to say, but don't want to spoil any surprises!! We just did The Great Potatoe Escape and it was just as great! Slightly more challenging than Black Bayou, in my opinion. The owner was present both times we've been there, which says a lot. The staff's enthusiasm for us and the game, truly felt so genuine.
We enjoyed BB so much, that that same day we scheduled another Escape Room in a different town and I was honestly so dissapointed. We were in a single room, the entire time, and interactions with the staff felt rehearsed. Which probably would've been fine, had we not been to Oh Key! first. They set the bar for us. Thank you for such great experiences!! I hope we get to come back to do the Candy room...

The Great Potato Escape was so fun and interesting we decided to do another puzzle right after. We also did Black Bayou and they did a such great job with the vibe! I'm amazed they were able to do such different themes so well!
The puzzles were varied and challenging, and many of them were really fun and creative!
The owner was extremely helpful. He let us play with only two people even though the puzzles were recommended for 4, and he even charged us half the 4 player price!
The price felt very fair compared other escape rooms I've seen, no matter how many people you have
If you're in the area I highly recommend this...
Read moreThe Great Potato Escape is a must-do for Idaho! Cute concept with traditional locks as well as some technology-forward locks as well. Logic flows very well. Who doesn't love a good potato?
The Scrying Mirror is in a second location around the corner from the original location in an old bank with lots of great atmosphere. This is their newest room and is quite technology forward with just a few traditional locks. It's very immersive with a spooky atmosphere... no jump scares. The logic made sense and it was quite creative. It's loosely based on local history, so well worth trying while nearby.
*Both rooms can be done with...
