DO NOT HIRE! NOT BBB accredited! Neal gave me a good quote, but it all went down hill from there. Installation was delayed due to the wrong furnace being ordered and the a/c came in with a dent. Installation took 4 days instead of the promised 6-8 hours. Originally he was apologetic and even refunded me a little on the a/c unit, so I wasn’t upset. But then the air conditioner did not work on day 1. He scheduled a day to come look at it, but never showed or called. I got a text 2 days later with a lame excuse. When he finally came to look he said there was a recall on the evaporator coil and mentioned putting in a temporary one until the replacement came in, which he said would only take a few days. Fast forward almost 2 weeks with me texting/calling and getting a few responses including an actual scheduled appointment that he never showed up for before this coil actually came in. The temporary one was never installed of course. After the coil was replaced I saw a pipe that was hanging loose and looks like it was never glued. Again poor communication, however he did come within 3 days to fix that. He was supposed to drop off a formal invoice and a refund for the coil. He missed his appointment for that without a call or text and I’m still waiting 14 days later. In that time I’ve also found a leak of clear oil. He ignored me for days regarding these topics, finally responded via text (which I believe was an accident as the text did not pertain to me) and scheduled a day to come fix it. That day has come and gone with no show, no call, no text. I tried to submit a complaint through the Better Business Bureau only to find out that despite putting the logo on his website he is not accredited through them! Read moreI do NOT recommend this company! It seems I had the same problem that another reviewer had with this company. I called them to check on a gas leak in my home. Neal came out and checked it and tightened one pipe and put soap on another to check for bubbles. He said he saw none so he turned my gas back on (the gas company turned it off due to the leak). After Neal left the smell of gas got so strong in my home you could smell it outside the home. It was awful. I had the gas company back out and they said first of all, Neal was not supposed to turn the gas back on, only THEY can do that once they have turned it off. Secondly, the place that they originally found the leak that Neal said was not leaking, WAS STILL LEAKING. They also think he may have caused a problem with my gas regulator when he turned the gas back on causing the stronger gas smell. I called Neal back as he said they warranty all of their work. Unfortunately, that does not seem to be true. I spoke with Neal the next day after he said he would come back to make the repair. He told me he had been in a "car accident" and was now at the hospital. He said he would have someone from his company come back to complete the repair. Well what do you know, I can't reach anyone at their company and Neal is no longer returning my calls. All I can say is if you take a GAMBLE and use this company it is BUYER BEWARE because they do not do good work and they do not stand by their fake warranty. It has now been 5 days later and NO CALL or follow-up from Neal or this company on my problem and I still can not reach any of them on the phone. Read moreThird times a charm! My boiler stopped heating up on one of the coldest days in January. I had 2 quotes and different diagnosis from 2 other companies. The first company was unable to find the part needed to repair and suggested I contact a well known company. That company gave me an outrageous quote and the technician tried to rush me into deciding if I would use their service. I might as well had bought a new boiler for the price I was quoted, but the tech let me know there was financing available if I couldn't afford to pay. I politely declined and went to Google to search for companies that fixed boilers in my area. Thermal Heating and Cooling was the only company I called from the search results. It wasn't until I called Thermal Heating and spoke with Neal that I felt reassured that my boiler would be fixed and I was given a more reasonable quote for part and service. I was given a free consultation as a second opinion for the diagnosis of my boiler. Neal was very professional, courteous and took the time to explain what he perceived was the issue. He gave clear options on a solution and also gave tips on how to maintain boiler throughout the year. He ordered part, came back next morning and fixed boiler.
