KFC — Restaurant in Bloom Township

All the chicken is breaded, which disappointed me. (You can see I don't go there often.) I was hoping for that big mashed potato dish with grilled chicken. I opted for the potpie. The crust, which only covers the top, was delicious. A perfect combination of butter, sugar and flour. Crumbly, sweet. I ate it first.

Then came the disappointment of seeing the pot part of the potpie. Half the aluminum bowl was empty. The chicken pot part was also delicious, just not enough, especially for somewhere around $5.

Reasonably fast service. My only truly picky point was that the window lady left my plastic bag of supposedly hot food sitting at the open window. I watched the plastic bag crackling in the wind while she went to get my drink and receipt. I hoped my food wasn't going to be stone cold before I got back to my desk to eat it. It was still warm enough I didn't need to microwave it, but thank goodness I had a microwave available should I have needed it.

You'll have to ask someone else about the breaded and fried chicken, although I imagine with KFC's long history and widespread availability, it should be...

I went here on May 1st for dinner. I ordered a famous bowl and the Mac and cheese bowl. I was informed they don’t sell the Mac and cheese bowl anymore by the worker. I then ordered an eight piece chicken meal. He ring me up for a ten piece meal. I took it because my family can eat it all so I didn’t mind. I started to fix my family plates and as soon as I pick up the chicken one piece fell right out the skin. The others had soggy crust. The famous bowl nuggets were burnt. I ordered original chicken not extra crispy but I thought it would’ve still been crispy. None of the chicken was crispy. I was highly disappointed. I will never go to this KFC or any KFC again. I reached out and made a complaint and they never reached back out to me. I won’t waste my money and do not recommend this place ever. Also the drive thru set up doesn’t make sense. It’s on a curve and to turn into the drive thru you further away from the speaker. The speaker and window also doesn’t hve an umbrella overhead. It was raining that day and the inside of my car gotten wet due to the speaker and window not...

No grilled chicken. Then I ordered a 16 piece original dinner with one corn, one cole slaw and 2 mashed potatoes and gravy. I dont know if all of the KFC's have changed their containers and use the famous bowl containers for mashed potatoes and gravy now? But they gave me 2 of those with a little mashed potatoes with a ton of gravy on top. I asked if the potatoes and gravy were separate when he gave me the bag. He said yes. I checked and it wasnt, so I brought it back to the counter. He ignored me and went to the next person. I stopped another employee and stated I want separate potatoes and gravy. She took the bowls, left, and never came back. The manager finally came to "take my order" 10 minutes later and gave me 2 half containers of potatoes and a couple mini containers of gravy, telling me I should have asked for them separately in the first place smh.
