Johnny G's Meat and Deli — Local services in Bloomingdale

Great Service inside the store and the fresh meats are great. On my last visit I got a pack of Johnny G's Bratwurst and they were phenomenal. Before going in I stopped at their food truck and got the Ribeye Steak sandwich with fries. I loved that they don't ruin the steak sandwich by putting steak sauce on the sandwich like a lot of places do. They do have a bacon marmalade that I suggest getting on the side and trying on a small piece. The marmalade was delicious but sweet which might not be everyone's taste on steak. The fries are cooked to a.nice crispy brown that I love but if you like them on the soft side just let them know before. After they come out of the frier they tossed the fries in a perfect amount of salt and pepper. Overall I'd give the food truck a 6 on a scale of 1-5! Definitely will be back to try the Burger with beef I saw go out while my food...

We went to Johnny G’s to purchase Italian sausage since we had tasted their sausage at my sister’s house on Easter. I called ahead and ordered 7 pounds. When we arrived, it was ready and in the fridge in the front of the store with my name on it. My husband was eyeing the ribeyes in the meat case and decided to purchase and grill a couple the following evening. Johnny G. promised us they would melt in our mouths. Well, we just finished dinner and I must say that they were truly the best, most tender steaks we have ever had! They were absolutely restaurant quality. A bit disappointed, new to the area, this place was recommended by one of my clients. Was looking for a specialty item for Father's Day. Was told they could acquire it, but they were unsure of the price. Left my information and never heard back from them. I ended up going to Wheaton Meat Market instead, where they were able to help me without issue. To be fair their food looked good, and the meat fresh. The person who helped me was very friendly with another customer who was in, but seem disinterested in assisting me.
