Visited the farmers market for the first time, and we really enjoyed it! What friendly people, both visitors and vendors. Tons of delicious baked goods, in addition to fresh and interesting produce. People, dogs, kiddos, and lots of smiles. Great way to start a Saturday morning. The market is essentially set up like a U, wrapping around three sides of the square. Stop at Lab Coffee, inside the Red Raccoon game shop, for a great cup of coffee, specialty drink, or acai bowls! There aren't really any food vendors at the market, just a lot of baked goods, produce, crafts, and preserves - just fyi, in case you are planning on grabbing a bite while here - you'd be limited to a good number of excellent quality baked goods. We have made it a habit of getting some mushrooms from one local dealer and always try to different types prepared with leeks and garlic.
