Five Below — Local services in Bloomington

I went in this morning right after they opened to pick up a few gifts. Shortly after entering a gentleman walked in who preceded to follow myself and my infant around the store. It made me very uncomfortable because the store, at that time, maybe had five customers total. If I walked to the back of the store he followed and to the front of the store, he did the same. I went to check out and he put his one item down and came and stood near the check out watching me. I kindly asked the two employees standing near me if they could watch me walk out to my van parked near the entrance because the man was now standing outside the door. I told them he was making me nervous and both employees were so kind about it. The one employee walked my daughter and I to our car and the other stood near the front door. These women didn’t have to make sure we were safe but they did and I’m so grateful for them and their kindness! They went above and beyond so if they see this, thank you...

In previous years I've shopped here and was able to buy the majority of all my kids and my nieces and nephews Xmas there but this year I have gone to 2 different five below stores and only achieved buying stocking stuffers. Maybe both stores are under terrible management but they neither one had their shelves stocked or much variety that was worth the buy. I am so terribly disappointed as I plan the trip there every year hoping to be able to buy for everyone of my kids but I couldn't find anything they would have wanted. This particular was worse then the other by far. Most everything was gone or not where it should've been, items were open and strewn about the store. Just nothing and what a let down. I used to love shopping here for all the cool random things they had my kids used to adore and now they barely have anything to choose...

Normally I love five below but after this last experience I won't be going back! We were having a great time shopping and looking at all the items we remembered from our childhood. The fun ended at checkout! When we went to check out a staff member took it upon herself to hover and was 2 inches from me the whole time I checked out. She stood right by the bags on the kiosk and watched me put every item in my bag. She then proceeded to follow us out of the dang store! I make good money and I am an extremely honest person with extremely high morals and this was extremely offensive that she would act like we were going to steal or something!...
