Definitely was not impressed with the customer service when I was here this past weekend. Normally I donât leave bad reviews like this, but the service was just bad. I dropped off a bin and all was good, check in process normal and I have no complaints there. But I came in to pick up and sat at the checkout area, ignored, for at least a solid 2 minutes. It was not at all busy. No one else in line, didnât even appear that they were struggling with other drop offs behind the counter either. Normally waiting wouldnât be an issue, except there were 2 employees standing behind the register, talking. One of the girls looked like she was sorting through a bin, which was fine. However, the second girl was facing my direction, looking at me, back up against the wall of tubs, talking to the girl sorting and was doing nothing else. An employee even walked past me and smiled. It took standing there for 2 minutes for the girl that was doing nothing but talking to tell SOMEONE ELSE to come to the register. God forbid your conversation is interrupted for you to do your job. A girl walks over to cash me out, and on her way over to the register, another employee that was off to the side purposely puts her foot out to trip her/ make her stumble⌠childish. Im then handed my bin. It was pretty full at drop off, but everything fit inside and the lid closed with no issues. They didnât take much, which wasnât the issue at all as I normally just take stuff in to see if I can get some cash before donating. But when Iâm handed back my bin, the clothes were just thrown back in to the point where the lid wouldnât shut. Iâm all for having a good time and being friends with your coworkers, but itâs like they let that get in the way and all seemed inconvenienced by doing their jobs. Perhaps management needs to have a talk about maturity and...
Read moreI had a frustrating experience when I brought a bag of clothes to sell at this store. I returned later to pick up my payment for the items they purchased and to retrieve the items they didnât take. However, they handed me a bag of clothes that werenât mine. They had mistakenly given my bag to another customer, who had already left with it.
This was incredibly stressful because my bag contained many high-quality items, including some with tags. My plan was to either wear them or sell them elsewhere if they werenât accepted. The manager, Elaine, was surprisingly nonchalant about the situation, shrugging it off with, âMistakes happen.â This was particularly frustrating given how insistent they are about scanning IDs during drop-offs and pickups. Behind the desk, however, itâs a chaotic mess, making it clear how such a mistake could occur.
I had to call them repeatedly to get updates, as they didnât reach out to me. Thankfully, the other customer eventually returned my clothes. When I went to retrieve them, they gave me two $10 gift certificates as an apology.
About 15 minutes after receiving the gift certificates, I tried to use them on a single item, only to be told I couldnât combine them in one transaction. If these had been part of a promotion, that would have been understandableâbut Iâd just received them as compensation for their significant error. Youâd think theyâd make an exception in this situation, but they didnât.
Overall, this place is a disorganized mess, and I canât recommend buying or selling here unless youâre prepared for a...
Read moreThe assistant managerâpretty sure her name is Jadaâis one of the most irritating people Iâve ever encountered in retail, and that is saying something. She acts sweet on the surface, smiling and talking in that fake nice voice like sheâs Miss Congeniality or whatever, but donât be fooled. Itâs all an act.
Behind that sugary tone is someone so painfully dumb itâs almost impressive. Like, genuinely no common sense. Zero. Itâs like trying to have a conversation with a wet sock that thinks itâs in charge. And because sheâs so clueless, she manipulates people constantly without even realizing how obvious she is. She talks behind her coworkersâ backs, throws them under the bus, and then giggles her way through it like nothing happened. Itâs sickening.
She floats around the store like sheâs doing something important, meanwhile sheâs crammed into clothes that look like theyâre about to file a workers comp claim. Her idea of managing is gossiping, pretending to âcheck inventory,â and faking concern for customers while creating chaos behind the scenes.
If you like fake smiles, a toxic environment, and being helped by someone who probably couldnât spell âPlatoâ if it wasnât on the sign, then heyâthis is your spot. But for the rest of us? This was my first and last visit.
Trashy store. Trashy leadership....
