Definitely was not impressed with the customer service when I was here this past weekend. Normally I donāt leave bad reviews like this, but the service was just bad. I dropped off a bin and all was good, check in process normal and I have no complaints there. But I came in to pick up and sat at the checkout area, ignored, for at least a solid 2 minutes. It was not at all busy. No one else in line, didnāt even appear that they were struggling with other drop offs behind the counter either. Normally waiting wouldnāt be an issue, except there were 2 employees standing behind the register, talking. One of the girls looked like she was sorting through a bin, which was fine. However, the second girl was facing my direction, looking at me, back up against the wall of tubs, talking to the girl sorting and was doing nothing else. An employee even walked past me and smiled. It took standing there for 2 minutes for the girl that was doing nothing but talking to tell SOMEONE ELSE to come to the register. God forbid your conversation is interrupted for you to do your job. A girl walks over to cash me out, and on her way over to the register, another employee that was off to the side purposely puts her foot out to trip her/ make her stumble⦠childish. Im then handed my bin. It was pretty full at drop off, but everything fit inside and the lid closed with no issues. They didnāt take much, which wasnāt the issue at all as I normally just take stuff in to see if I can get some cash before donating. But when Iām handed back my bin, the clothes were just thrown back in to the point where the lid wouldnāt shut. Iām all for having a good time and being friends with your coworkers, but itās like they let that get in the way and all seemed inconvenienced by doing their jobs. Perhaps management needs to have a talk about maturity and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a frustrating experience when I brought a bag of clothes to sell at this store. I returned later to pick up my payment for the items they purchased and to retrieve the items they didnāt take. However, they handed me a bag of clothes that werenāt mine. They had mistakenly given my bag to another customer, who had already left with it.
This was incredibly stressful because my bag contained many high-quality items, including some with tags. My plan was to either wear them or sell them elsewhere if they werenāt accepted. The manager, Elaine, was surprisingly nonchalant about the situation, shrugging it off with, āMistakes happen.ā This was particularly frustrating given how insistent they are about scanning IDs during drop-offs and pickups. Behind the desk, however, itās a chaotic mess, making it clear how such a mistake could occur.
I had to call them repeatedly to get updates, as they didnāt reach out to me. Thankfully, the other customer eventually returned my clothes. When I went to retrieve them, they gave me two $10 gift certificates as an apology.
About 15 minutes after receiving the gift certificates, I tried to use them on a single item, only to be told I couldnāt combine them in one transaction. If these had been part of a promotion, that would have been understandableābut Iād just received them as compensation for their significant error. Youād think theyād make an exception in this situation, but they didnāt.
Overall, this place is a disorganized mess, and I canāt recommend buying or selling here unless youāre prepared for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe assistant managerāpretty sure her name is Jadaāis one of the most irritating people Iāve ever encountered in retail, and that is saying something. She acts sweet on the surface, smiling and talking in that fake nice voice like sheās Miss Congeniality or whatever, but donāt be fooled. Itās all an act.
Behind that sugary tone is someone so painfully dumb itās almost impressive. Like, genuinely no common sense. Zero. Itās like trying to have a conversation with a wet sock that thinks itās in charge. And because sheās so clueless, she manipulates people constantly without even realizing how obvious she is. She talks behind her coworkersā backs, throws them under the bus, and then giggles her way through it like nothing happened. Itās sickening.
She floats around the store like sheās doing something important, meanwhile sheās crammed into clothes that look like theyāre about to file a workers comp claim. Her idea of managing is gossiping, pretending to ācheck inventory,ā and faking concern for customers while creating chaos behind the scenes.
If you like fake smiles, a toxic environment, and being helped by someone who probably couldnāt spell āPlatoā if it wasnāt on the sign, then heyāthis is your spot. But for the rest of us? This was my first and last visit.
Trashy store. Trashy leadership....
