I have been into the shop a few times. Every time has been an enjoyable experience. This has been due to the set up of the shop, the knowledge of the owner and the experience overall. It has been nice to actually hear the history of the coins I have brought in has he looks them up and tells you where they are from and any historical relevance.

I have not been to many coins shops so I do not know what to really expect in them. So far I know however that they should look clean, look awesome and have a nice staff. These things I can say are true about Queen City Rare Coin.

If you haven't already, consider stopping in and looking around. There are some pretty cool old things from a variety of origins. I really enjoy that there were Native American artifacts and old muskets and weapons and cool stuff that you like nerd out on as a kid and want to own as an adult.

I wanted to buy some metal and I chose Queen City Rare Coin because they have the highest ratings of any local coin shop. When I entered the business, I immediately saw several reasons for this: 1) The store is clean and well ordered. 2) The broad range of merchandise is in fair to excellent condition and priced to sell. 3) The owner, Mike, is friendly and accommodating. He made me feel like I was doing business with an old high school buddy. This is some feat, considering I am twice his age. I would recommend this company without reservation to anyone who likes to collect coins and metals, as well as other rare objects.

This is a genuine coin shop that's located in a great part of town with lots of parking right out front.
