First off let me start off by saying they have some of the rudest workers I have ever met. My daughter had set her clarinet on the table to get her stand ready when our cat jumped up and before she could get it the cat knocked it off and it had hit litter. I took it into Meyer only to be told how I need to have a talk with my daughter about how to take care of her clarinet. Not once but multiple times. I might add this is the first time we had taken it in because of something she has done. Then an hour or so later I get a call from another employee asking me what exactly happened. I proceeded to tell her the same exact story and she pretty much called my daughter a liar and said that’s not what happened. They said 2 to 3 weeks for repair and I don’t even remember how long it’s been there. I called today to check on the status and the woman answering immediately says oh the really bad clarinet. They really need to learn how to talk to customers. I do not see why they are so worried. Of course it’s not covered under the payment plan. IM PAYING FOR IT. THEY ARE NOT PAYING ANYTHING. SO WHEN I COME IN I DONT WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING ELSE. I will not recommend anyone else here. Save time and money and get your...
Read moreI sent in my oboe for repair, because at the time it was near the day of my band concert and I couldnt send in my oboe to the place that I normaly get my repairs from. My oboe had a few screws adjusted out of attunement, and was very hard to play. I tried fixing it and ended up making it worse since I didnt have cigarette paper to test the pressure. They charged me 65 dollars and my oboe came back with a note that said "no screws out of place, replaced one pad. I had cork padding before, and there was nothing wrong with the pads before I send my oboe in, but they replaced it with some cheap styrofoam looking pad, charged $65 and didnt fix the main problem. Next day, I go to my band director and they grab a screw driver and they fix the screws for me because meyers doesnt do their job properly. If the screw adjustments werent urgent, I wouldve paid the extra 210 to get it fixed where I normally fix it at. $65 Well wasted. Thank you meyers, you...
Read moreHorrible experience! Rude since day one. They made us think we were renting to own. Paid them a few hundred in March to cover 6 months and they called me the next month saying we owed them money. The lady looked it up and of course they were wrong we didn't owe them until August. Then in June another call and they demanded May and June's rental fee. We ended up having to pay May and June again. We've been treated like crap, harassed in our own home more then once, over charged more then once, and now we're told we have to give them a credit card number or give the violin back because we're a month behind and they demand the next payment that isn't due yet. We pay a few hundred in advance and the minute we can't afford a month we're threatened and harassed. Thanks Meyer music I'll do my business...
