While they may offer cheaper prices in comparison to other grocery stores, there are big sacrifices that are made that hinder the overall shopping experience. Noticeably, all the products with a relevant discount are aldi/store brand. While some of the products are similar to what you’d find from the likes of Kroger or Publix, a lot of the items have a lessor taste and quality than what you’d expect from more notable brands. Their biggest issue has to be the people aspect of the store. There’s always only a handful of people working, and because of that, all the employees have to do 2-3 peoples worth of work at the same time. This business decision unfortunately effects the overall experience for the shopper as well. Items that are frequently shopped are not restocked due to low staff and them being preoccupied. You can’t get help because the 3 associates that have to run the entire store at once are already doing something. There is rarely more than 1 or 2 lanes open at checkout even on busy days, resulting in long lines. Due to the long lines, and the cashier being on their own, they man handle the products when checking out and quickly slam them into the cart with no care, damaging items that are fragile. The customer service here is easily worst than Walmarts, but not really to the fault of the employees, but due to the fact that they are overworked because of staffing issues. Also, make sure you have a quarter, cause you’ll need one in order to use a shopping cart (they’re so cheap they can’t afford to potentially lose a...
Read moreI am normally a early morning shopper. If Aldi opened at 0700, my Wife (who I am incredibly in love with) and I would be there. I prefer Aldi for their lower prices and unique selection of goods. They usually well stocked with the items I purchase on a regular basis. The Employees are always busy keeping shelves stocked and neatly arranged despite some customers who want to leave their mark by shuffling items around and not putting them back where they belong. I think it is a grand policy for patrons desiring to use a shopping cart deposit a quarter dollar to secure it during their visit and is readily returned as patrons return the cart where it belongs. I support other establishments to incorporate the same standard. The Employees although always maintaing the store, they cheerfully greet customers and offer sincere friendly assistance to ensure customer satisfaction. There are no self check out stations and if you fail to bring your own bags you may be required to purchase bags from the store however, more frugal customers will be smart to use a free box to take your purchase back to your vehicle...
Read moreThey had everything I needed at prices I didn't deserve. My 5 star review demands good customer service and a reasonable price. On both merits this location exceeded my expectations.
Truffled pasta, candies, and Christmas food / gifts are currently on 'clearance' at low prices even though the holiday is still a few days away.
Note: when inspecting the fresh fruit I noticed a few berries starting to turn. I see this frequently at ALDI stores--the blueberries would have been fine if used the same day and my experience with their return policy on produce has been that they are extremely flexible and easy to deal with regardless of whether you have a receipt, want to exchange, or prefer a...
