I am deeply disappointed in the amount of time I had to wait after being checked in. I arrived at the ER about 10:40 AM, handed in the paperwork at about 10:45, was about 11:15. I sat in the waiting room for about 2 hours before getting my blood drawn, and then sat for another 5 hours before someone came out to talk to me about my swollen face and painful teeth, she said she'd check with someone to see if they would put me in small treatment room. About 15 minutes later she returned and took me to a room after a brief visit to the bathroom. Mind you, I had previously been sitting in a wheelchair all this time with NO ONE coming to see if I might have to go to the bathroom, although there was staff going in and out of the office doors constantly. They disappeared so fast I never had time to ask for their help. Once I got into the room I had to wait almost a half an hour to talk to the nurse and another 15 minutes to briefly (I'd estimate 5 or 6 minutes) talk to the PA, he looked in my mouth for a second, told me he was writing out a prescription and if I had any problems I should return. HOWEVER, I wasn't the only one having to wait so long, there were at least 4 other people waiting too. One guy said he waited 2 hours in an ambulance before getting a room only to be kicked out to the waiting room to wait for another room. Another couple had been waiting to get test results back they had arrived at 9:30 AM, they finally got their results about 7 and he was able to go home. The person I felt the sorriest for was a woman that came in after me, she arrived about 11:15. She was throwing up almost constantly into a container. She was still sitting there throwing up. Here's a picture of me how I normally look and one of me sitting in the waiting room. One thing that bothered me while sitting in the waiting room was the fact that the man I saw and another man were looking out of one of the offices and laughing hysterically. I felt like they were laughing at me. I almost forgot to mention that several people left after waiting 3 to 4 hours. The staff was very nice and friendly even joking around in a polite manner inorder to put me at ease for which I liked. This was my 2nd visit in the past 3 months. I wish they would have taken an X-ray or two so they could see exactly where the two spots of infection in my mouth are. Thank you for reading this and I'm sorry I got so...
Read moreThey requested me to go to Dr go to see if I needed to get my gallbladder pulled out.... So I did I went there and he said that I should have it taken out and to immediately go back to Marshall medical to get it taken out three days in the hospital..... The guy there has said oh we don't really trust his word doctor go always sending people to the hospital ... If that was true why did you send me back in the first place is a waste of my time Only to then be like oh maybe we should. It was very merry-go-round should we should we not for 3 days For them to tell me it was a UTI. It was not no UTI that was causing the main problem it was the gallstones and even I knew that and I am not even a doctor. I got poked by shots 22 times in those 3 days mostly on the 1stday the staff is very rude the food wasn't great at all in fact they were feeding me stuff that I shouldn't even been eating if they were so worried about the UTI. The UTI wasn't the problem that was causing me such pain it was a gallstones because my pain was located in my neck and my right shoulder blade and in my spine. Despite me telling them this over and over they took it as oh just grit and deal with it.... UTI is what's doing it but I beg to differ.... I was 3 weeks before that and now I'm still dealing with it. I don't think they know what they're doing at all think they're a bunch of quacks. And I had waited the week before for 5:00 to 6 hours just to be seen I don't think the people here really prioritize People's health at all. I think they're just living paycheck to paycheck. My arms are still heavily bruised from the shots and my body still hurts 🤕 it's still hard to move but I am tryna deal with it I will be going back to Dr go to find out what i need to do cause this pain is unbearable and affecting my day to day life. Yo already knew this review was coming 💢🤕 please hire better staff... That actually care about...
Read moreI was transported to the emergency room via ambulance (the EMT'S were great). The emergency room staff was awful. No bedside manner, no hi my name is such and such. They walked past you and not even acknowledged you. While waiting on a room for at an hour. There was an older man that must have came in by ambulance also. They never walked up to him or nothing. Maybe people aren't considered patients until you are in a room. There were people leaving because they were not getting what they needed. When I finally got in a room, I assume that it was the nurse and she seemed pissed. She cussing because the IV that was put in by the EMT'S was wrong. So she just yank it out and didn't do anything because as I said she seemed pissed. I had abdominal pain and with a very rude tone, she says " you're going to have to sit up so that I can get your vitals." Still no introduction or pleasant bedside manner. I still don't know her name. After about 30 minutes I was in way too much pain to continue to wait on nothing to be done. She let me know that it was about to be shift change and couldn't tell me how long the wait would be. I told her that I could wait and I was going home and I'll just take a Tylenol. The emergency room staff that were working this particular night seemed that they didn't care, just seemed desensitized. I would not recommend this emergency room to anyone. Go somewhere else if you want medical treatment.
Now on to the good news. The next day I was scheduled for a colonoscopy and the staff that was working were phenomenal! I told them about my experience and both of these ladies were appalled by what I told them. These staff members in day surgery get 5 plus stars. Their bedside manners were a breath of fresh air. Thank you to the staff working the...
