Please do not work here it’s very unorganized and the manager Clinique is very unprofessional. They do not actually train you at all and will just put you on the sales floor. They will reprimand you if you’re not ‘quick’ enough after only being there for a couple of days. The manager Clinique gossips about the other employees in her office, sits on her phone most of the time, and she only comes out of her office some times. The manager Clinique had the supervisor pull me off of the floor while I was working, then reprimanded me for my performance with racking the clothes even though during that time it was only my 3rd time ever doing it. She then threatened to terminate me the same day she pulled me off of the floor for not being as efficient with the racking of the clothes even though she didn’t thoroughly train me. She later on that day put me in the stock room then told me I wasn’t moving ‘quick’ enough with that even though it was my first time ever doing it. She put me back on the Sales floor then and told me to rack the clothes while she stands there then proceeded to reprimand me for how I was racking them then told me I had to move “Quicker”. That same day she sent me home because she got annoyed with me and then when I tried to clock out I couldn’t because she removed me from the schedule but I didn’t find that out until I got off. Days after she messed with my schedule continuously and ended up removing me from the schedule for that entire week. Last week she continued on messing with my schedule then when I showed up at the end of the week to quit and to pick up my check she told me in front of the whole store she terminated me even though I had no acknowledgment of that. I shop at DD’s but Bolingbrook I must say is my family and I favorite one. When you walk in it’s welcoming and warm. Now don’t get me wrong when we first came to this one lol. The cashier it was like she wasn’t there she didn’t want to engage with the customers. She was just working no conversation nothing just next person please step up. No smile no laugh nothing. Not sure if it wasn’t a good day for her but she did her job by getting us in and out. She is amazing with getting that line down by herself. I’ve been there and those cashiers be lost. Now over time I can say she is warm, very helpful, she goes that extra step. The team as a whole is awesome. They are like family. You would think she is an upper person but she is just the cashier. It’s the love and respect for me. Hack she makes us feel like family. My family calls Ms. T Ms. DD’s because she is always there trying to help and understand. I just seen where the manager and a worker refused to check out Vera Gile Norris. They refused because she wouldn't take the hangers off of the clothing. The sign clearly stated if you'd like please take off the hangers it didn't state that she had too. Also, they weren't busy at the time so why not wait on her. Vera is a respectable person in the community and always looking out for the well being of other people. These ladies in this store being so rude to her was just UNEXCEPTIBLE! If that's the way they treat there customers they don't need to be in customer service. They need to be removed from this store. Go to her page and watch the video.
