Okay loss prevention falsely accused me of theft even had cops come which is charging me with theft 3 and they all admitted that an item scanned in at the wrong price for them also and nobody could explain why but they kept all 18 items that I paid for, embarrassed me publicly and didn't reimburse me for the items taken from me like I was repeatedly told that I would be and after I was apologized to by everyone including the manager the loss prevention lady that had it out for me from the time I walked in to the place the Bonney lake, Washington in Pierce County home depot off of highway 410 is absolutely insane and they are jeopardizing my career by changing the facts and living with the help of the very corrupt and very biased Bonney Lake Police Department and the Bonney Lake Municipal Court that both have ran me out of the city that I have lived in my whole life when my now ex wife ousted me as transgender after keeping my secret for 15+ years and the police officers threatened me repeatedly I finally heeded their warnings especially since the only other trans in the city 2 - missing and the other died drug overdose but never used drugs in her life. Side note someone should look into the disappearances and deaths of the Trans community in East Pierce County since 2016/17 mainly Puyallup, Sumner, Bonney Lake and the surrounding areas near those cities also the rate of incarcerated after never having been incarcerated before but suddenly sent to prison for a sleu of convictions and the evidence in those cases are mostly the police being eye witnesses and or another civilian being an eye witness but no actual evidence just people's words. Yes I'm saying that the police and citizens or at least 1 or more of each are serial killers and killing Trans and sending them to prison after having them falsely accused of fictitious crimes and obviously the loss prevention at home depot in Bonney Lake is assisting them.

Just got back report from lip reading service and loss prevention lady clearly says that she watches me not scan the rolls of wire but after the other lady rings up the items and gets the same total and neither has explanation and then she walks away and after about 20 minutes she comes back and tells the police officers that she watches me switch tags from a cheaper roll of wire. That I since reading this new report went to the store to look at the supposed cheaper roll that I switched it from and it is a roll of wire that Comes in packaging with a cardboard barcode. Our 1st time using Home Depot and one of their installers and it has been a nightmare. Pretty sure the issues are with HD though. We went to the store , picked out carpet for one space and plank for another and paid in full.

10 days went by and the carpet was installed with no issues. The next day the plank was scheduled for install. They ripped up the carpet (we now have plywood floors) and then said that our floor was not level enough for that product and that they could not level. They said it would cost around $5k to level the space so we decided just to get carpet again. We went to the store the very next day and picked our carpet.

Called the week after and they said installation couldn't be scheduled until the product was in stock.

It has now been 2 weeks and so we called to find out when our installation was scheduled. They told us the carpet was not ordered yet and it would another 2 weeks before it could even be scheduled. On top of the waiting for our carper and installation they have never come and picked up the 20 boxes of flooring product or the 1/4 round and caulk and they are sitting in our living room.

The insallation company was very responsive in trying to help us, but they are at the mercy of Home Depot.

At this point I literally think that Home Depot does not care about our situation and I cannot keep spending 30 minutes on the phone with them trying to get someone to actually help me. I have talked with a "Manager" 3 or 4 times and each time they have passed responsibility to someone else.

Our house is a mess, our furniture is moved and we have are living on plywood floors now for 2 weeks and it will be at least 2 more! If you are thinking of using the Bonney Lake Home depot for anything thing that requires customer service or scheduling I recommend you find an alternative.

UPDATE- finally got my flooring installed after 6 weeks of living with plywood floors. I have been trying to have them reconcile the cost difference between the 2 orders I had to place and I spoke with the flooring manager last week and he said he would email me the amount to be credited back. One week has gone by and I have not received anything. Another example of how poorly the flooring deparment is run. I also talked with the store manager and he simply didnt care. Absolute waste of my time and money!

I had a garden project which I needed a flat bed truck to haul some of the material for. I reserved the vehicle in advance, with the expectation that a valid license and insurance was all that was needed to pickup the vehicle (per their own website). I also hired a babysitter to watch our kids while we hauled the materials for the project.

On the day of the rental reservation, I show up 15mins early and waited patiently to start the checkin process while they helped other people renting equipment. I was then told I needed to a do a check with the service "Clear" to pickup the vehicle. I go through all the steps of taking a selfie, scanning the front and back of my ID, and approving the sharing of information with Home Depot. For the next 15-20 minutes I wait around while the employee at the counter unsuccessfully validates my information.

I offered to redo the Clear process and he indicates it won't help because their system is down. I then ask if there's a way to proceed without Clear, as I do have a valid license and insurance as their website and signage within the store states (no requirement to pass a "Clear" check noted anywhere). The employee then confirms that I can't take possession of the vehicle without the service verifying who I am.

Ultimately, I needed to return the materials I purchased because I was unable to get the vehicle I reserved in advance, and I wasted money on a babysitter for a project I was unable to complete. I was already disappointed with my general experience at The Home Depot, but this is really the last time I count of their services for any of my projects.

I'd really love to hear the justification for requiring a "Clear" check for renting a vehicle. As a person with a valid state license and a local address, I can't possibly understand what sort of verification they needed that someone in person can't provide. Services like "Clear" are intended for online services where a verification by a third party human would be difficult or impossible.
