a BYOB Brews Cruise around Boston Harbor?! Yes, please!

Cycleboat Boston, based in Charlestown, is a family-owned company providing both public tours and private charters for up to 20-26 guests.

Each boat has a central table with ice-filled coolers that is surrounded by 12 bike seats for passengers to pedal to power the boat but don't worry! You don't have to pedal, there is an outboard motor. And if pedaling isn't your thing at all or there's more than 12 of passengers, each boat has a comfy lounge area in the back that is set up for conversation, sipping on your drink and drinking in the views!

All cruises are BYOB (cans only and no hard alcohol - a craft beer lovers dream) and you can also bring food/snacks on board!

For our cruise, we enjoyed charcuterie cones from Kured.co and Scuba & I obviously had to bring along some on-theme beers including Cushnoc Brewing's 'Can't Buy Backbone' IPA, Wormtown Brewing's Summer Ale and a pounder of Montauk Brewing's Summer Ale (all purchased at Dion's in Waltham).

As someone who is happiest in/on/near the water with a beer in hand and has so much pride in my city; this was a dream! I am actively looking for any excuse to get back out on...

We had the TIME OF OUR LIVES! We booked a 10am private cruise for my sisters bachelorette party. We had a fantastic time! Cap. Phil and first mate Arthur (searching for Francine) LOL were amazing ! They truly made our experience everything we could have wanted and more! We were able to pipe in our own playlist and we had so much fun dancing and singing along to our favorite songs and Phil laughed and joked and even requested a song he knew we would love and of course we did ! He also got us the perfect picture spots with the best view as the backdrop! We also loved his fun trivia and history lessons along the way! I highly recommend EVERYONE book a cycleboat tour when visiting Boston or even if your from here (like we are) we learned things we never knew about our great city and had a great time along the way! Thanks Captain Phil and Arthur for making our cruise...

Been on cycleboat 3 times and always have the best time!!

here’s what you need to know about the 1.5 hour tour: You aren’t required to cycle/pedal (surprising, right?) Coolers with ice are provided but feel free to bring your own drinks + snacks In addition to the cycle seats there is comfortable lounge seating Make sure to bring your aux cord friend because you get to play your own music Select boats can fit up to 20-26 people Tours are offered during the morning, afternoon and sunset You can book a public or private tour Views are always 10/10 Weekday and weeknight pricing is often better than weekends, up to 30% less in some cases, and weekday/weeknight cruises can be a great way to unwind after work or a busy...
