*EDIT* They have redeemed themselves since, so much so that I will be booking again! Amy was wonderful and I appreciate the effort put into making things right. My new set will be pictured below This place has great reviews but service was far from that. I booked 05/07 for a gel x and received a confirmation email for 3:45. I showed up and was told my appointment was for 2:45. After showing my confirmation email for 3:45 I was told the guy doing gel x was busy. I then I asked to wait or come back tomorrow. The very nice woman at the front desk talked me into trying builder gel. I agreed even though I was very excited to try gel x for the first time. About 5 minutes in with my first nail tech, the nail tech begins arguing with the front desk about doing my nails because she had an appointment coming up. They go back and forth and ultimately the nail tech refuses to continue with me. I’m moved to another nail tech who also seemed to be upset about doing my nails. They came out pretty but I’ve never been so cut up. I was bleeding in multiple spots by the end of the appointment and I’m still in pain. I still tipped but I don’t feel as if this nail salon was worth the $95 I spent. ($90 nails, $5 tip)

The absolute worst manicure I’ve ever gotten in my life. I asked for gel X and got acrylic. Granted I did sit through the whole thing because I just am in town for three days and needed to get my nails done and didn’t think it could be that bad. But just the amount of carelessness in the zero effort, horrible shape and bad paint all over my hands is crazy. Not to mention i had to ask to go wash the dust off my hands halfway through from the drill/file. This was $90 for a full set of French tips to look like this. I was also in there for 2 1/2 hours. It was back breaking, and let’s not forget the slap of lotion on my hand at the end for a bootleg massage and I actually had to ask for a napkin to wipe it off. The salon is dirty. The tools are unsterile, dirty and used. Three of my fingers bled and I’ll be waiting to get some sort of infection. You can see the redness. Also no cuticle prep or nail trimming was done before they glued the tips on. Took these pictures immediately after leaving. I didn’t give them a lot of grief because they were hard to communicate with. By the time it came to pay I really just wanted to leave. Do not get your nails done here. Just another overpriced chop shop.

Super disappointed in my most recent visit. I had gone once before for a gel manicure and got a nice ombré that looked fine from the top, but was pretty thick from the side and super uneven when you looked up close. It got worse as it grew out, so I came back in less than 2 weeks to get it fixed and just do something simple in hopes that it would be better. This location is convenient for me and does online reservations, so I was hopeful that this experience could be redeemed. Unfortunately my second experience was even worse. While she was nice, the nail tech was inexperienced and messy. I asked for a pale yellow and a clean look and what I got was the lumpiest gel manicure I have ever seen. It’s clunky, uneven, and thicker than if I were to have gotten tips with a dip manicure. What makes it worse is that after asking her to fix it and almost an hour and a half of sitting in the chair, I still ended up with a result I didn’t like. Listing pictures of the nails from both visits for reference.

Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing, and I won’t be returning unless I can specifically book with Danny, who did a great job on my friend’s pedicure.

We walked in and were seated quickly for gel pedicures. My friend had to wait about 15–20 minutes for Danny to finish with another client, which wasn’t an issue. I actually started before her—and yet she finished a full 10 minutes before me, which says a lot about how inefficient my service was.

The technician I was assigned seemed like it might have been her first day. She didn’t know how to properly remove gel polish and soaked my feet before even trying to take it off, which just made the process more difficult. I’ve been getting gel pedicures consistently for over 10 years and have never experienced anything like this.

When it was time to choose polish, she brought me two random colors that were similar to what I picked instead of the actual color I chose. I had to ask her to please get the one I wanted, and thankfully the man at the front stepped in to help.

Then came the pedicure, which was just strange. She painted and cured each toe one at a time—starting only with the big toes—rather than doing all five and curing together like every other salon I’ve been to. This dragged the service out unnecessarily and made it feel awkward and unprofessional.

She ended with a “massage,” which was basically just rubbing lotion into my legs for a few seconds. By that point, I was just ready to go. The finished result was okay, but certainly not worth the time or frustration.

Also worth mentioning: the entire salon had a strong citronella scent that was overwhelming and not pleasant. Between the inexperience, the lack of efficiency, and the odd environment, I wouldn’t come back—unless I could book with Danny, who clearly knows...

Had a terrible experience here today. Me and two other girls made an appointment to have our nails done together at 2pm. The other two in my group were taken after waiting just a few minutes however I waited nearly 45 minutes to be seen. I waited and didn’t say anything, but when the receptionist came over to tell me I was up next she said “there’s nothing we can do, we only have 7 people working”. Which was a weird thing to say because we called 3+ hours in advance to make the appointment. We weren’t walk-in’s. Once I finally sat down, my manicurist asked me what color I wanted. She went back and forth with other manicurists asking them to get the color. No one could find what I had picked out and with my hands soaking there wasn’t much I could do. No one offered to help me get a similar color (outside of telling me I could have black which isn’t what I picked out). I ended up panic-choosing a color because I was already so far behind in my appointment. I told the manicurist I didn’t like the color but she assured me after a few coats I would like it. I still didn’t like the color, and the manicure is nothing special. I have a lot of polish build up around my cuticles and my nails are jagged. The girls I went with also had bad experience. One wanted mocha colored gel polish with a clear chrome finish. She ended up with 100% silver nails after her manicurist put waaaaaay too much chrome powder on. All in all a very bad experience. And to top it all off, they bundle gel removal in the cost of a gel manicure so I paid $38 for a mediocre gel manicure AND a removal when I came in with bare nails. Won’t...

This is the worst nail salon I’ve been to in all of Boston. Tonight I left crying and bleeding. First of all, the man who attempted my pedicure started using a nail drill on my bare nails, and when I asked him to stop because he was hurting me, he said “no don’t worry” and kept going. The drill made a small cut on the side of my toe. He then proceeded to go over that same area with a cuticle cutter, which caused the cut to bleed. I asked him to please stop and just paint my nails. I asked for French. Big mistake. The way this man tried to do French was offensive. He painted thick white horizontal lines that took up half of each toe nail. He then proceeded to color in the remaining portion of the nail with a nude color that he striped on horizontally. There was no base coat or top coat, and my toes were filed down in a way that made them rough and uneven. He was supposed to give me a gel manicure as well, but as soon as I sat down he took out his drill again, even though my nails were completely bare. I couldn’t take it anymore so I asked him to give me just a clear coat (no cutting or filing since he clearly couldn’t do that). But no, that was too difficult. He takes out his file and starts shaping my thumb to a point. At this point, I was tearing up and still bleeding. They charged me $50 for that catastrophe. I left with my nails looking worse than before. I will NEVER go back there.

If you still want to go after reading this, don’t forget to bring a...
