Bait To Plate — Restaurant in Boston

The manager and girl behind the counter are extremely dishonest . When I called on the phone half an hour before they told me that the lobster was $15.99 per lb , when we got to the restaurant the manager tried to raise the price to 18.99 lb . When I confronted them abt raising the price within 30 mins they were shocked and still continued to persist that it was 18.99. I specifically remember asking the girl on the phone to confirm the price . I’m so disgusted by their dishonesty. Even after I confronted them she still deceitfully charged us 17.50 per lb . Here’s the thing , just be honest upfront . Don’t tell me one price and then change it 30 mins later and then still deceitfully over charge me . I usually order from this restaurant at least once a month , but I will never patronize this business again . The manager wasn’t even apologetic , just haughty and money- hungry . Ordered their food on a whim and since then been ordering when ever my family and I crave for some fish. This is the only place we order fish from. (There’s not any fish place besides a lot of pizza, American and Chinese restaurants in Fields Corner til Bait to Plate arrived and we just had to try out their food.) We always get the fisherman plate with their veggies fried rice and of course I get their strawberry smoothie for myself because it’s really good! There was that one time the food we ordered was not cooked all the way and I’m sure it was a different cook that day but no biggie. Ight yo I ma keep it real with yall. 💯💯💯💯 I just went here today.... September 3rd, 2018 at approximately 6:17pm... For the first time ever... And I must say.. This is one of the best... If not the best fish and chips I have ever had in my entire life!!.. Like in 25 years of my life I have never ever.. Ate a fish and chips... So fresh... So flavorful and well cooked... It's almost like they just caught the fish, scale it and cook it on the spot.. That's how fresh it was... So Idk what's all the complaints was about.. But the food was muy bueno.. Everything was on point.. The cashier and everybody was nice too... Like it completely satisfy my hunger and guess what? I m coming back again. 5/5 p.s this is my first review ever. Keep doing what...
