Avoid shopping at this Pandora store. Save yourself the time and bad experience. If you're looking for Boston-specific charms here, you're out of luck. The only supposed retailer in Boston doesn't carry them anymore. I learned the hard way -- but it didn't have to be so.
I called their direct line listed on Google several times (I later confirmed at the store that it was the right number) and for several days, never an answer. I wanted to make sure they carried the Boston charms before heading to the store to avoid the awful traffic and parking this time of year.
Since I got no response, I decided to go to the store and deal with nearly an hour of traffic in order to get this charm in time for Christmas.
Once I arrived I was greeted by one lovely store employee who immediately informed me that they sold out of the Boston charms and tried selling me something else. Another not-so-nice older lady, who wore a permanent frown on her face, proceeded to tell me that Pandora will no longer make them.
Disappointed and frustrated, I told them that I could've avoided the long drive had someone picked up the phone and told me the same information. The sour lady then said that the phones don't work... I politely asked her to address this issue with Pandora to please fix this and avoid these situations. She just stared at me with the meanest look. Completely rude and unprofessional. No apology, no sympathy, nothing. Only the younger nicer lady said she was sorry for the trouble.
I can't say I'm surprised. I read the reviews beforehand and thought the experiences others had may have been isolated. I was wrong. Not shopping at this location ever. I hope corporate Pandora sees this and takes care of the problem, which is also partially their responsibility, because they aren't posting any announcements about the status or discontinuation of their city-specific charms -- if that is true. AND FIX...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this Pandora location around midday on June 27 and was disappointed by the unhelpful and dismissive service I received. I frequently shop at Pandora locations across Rhode Island, where Iām consistently greeted at the door and offered friendly, attentive service. Staff at those stores are typically more than willing to answer questions, check inventory, and even look in other drawers to double check. since Iām familiar with Pandoraās sales and know that not all sale items are always on display.
During this visit, there were two employees present. What appeared to be the senior employee was an African American woman, approximately 30 years old with a regular build. She was assisting another customer at the time. The younger employee appeared to be a 24-year-old Hispanic woman with a fuller build. The senior associate briefly asked the younger one to help me locate specific items I was interested in, but she immediately dismissed the request, stating, āAll we have is on display.ā When I tried to ask additional questions, she shut down the conversation and refused to assist further, simply directing me back to the display case.
A family walked into the store and was immediately greeted by both employees, whereas I was completely ignoredānot upon entering nor afterwardādespite my clear interest in shopping and asking questions. Unfortunately, even the senior associate, though more experienced, was equally dismissive and made no effort to engage with me either.
This level of service is far below what Iāve come to expect from Pandora, and I left the store feeling completely disregarded and unwelcome. I plan to share my experience with Pandoraās corporate office to ensure this matter is addressed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience in Pandora that is in Prudential! I tried to go to the store waiting for them to help me with my bracelet because when I walked my bracelet opened by itself, I had to check every 5 minutes that my bracelet did not open. I was afraid that I would lose it. When I arrived at the store I explained to them what the problem was,
First of all, "the manager" who was very rude and disrespectful, she told me that sheās not gonna change my bracelet because it was in perfect condition, I tried to explain to her that at first it seems to close well but when I am walking my bracelet opened and fell, she insisted that sheās not gonna change it for a new one because the bracelet is fine, she also told me that it happened because I didn't close it well, I asked her for her name just to talk to customer services and tell them who took care of me and she said that she didn't have to give me her name and she walked away. I was embarrassed by her behavior. She seemed extremely entitled. I was disappointed that this company would allow such representation. Just to mention it, I bought my bracelet 2-3 weeks ago in that store. Very bad experience, and unprofessional!
If you need help, go to another Pandoraās store. I will rather drive to Burlington or Assembly and have great service than to come back to this location.
I went to Pandora in Assembly the same day and they helped me with my bracelet without problem, and they also helped me to find a new charm....
