I should have known better before trying a place that I saw on Instagram, that’s on Newbury! 1. Space is clean but look very dark and dodgy. Neon lights in the bathroom, tiny changing rooms. 2. They never cleaned my face property even though I said twice I have makeup on, including mascara. How can you do a facial on a face that’s not cleansed. See photos of what I took off when I got home (I don’t even wear much makeup). 3. The person that was doing facial said I should do a different one so my skin is more glowy (I was in the dodgy room at this point). I asked what the price difference was and she said it was the same today for me. I said fine. She was using terms I had no clue about. I said fine do it. She started scraping my forehead. I asked what she was using and she said it’s a scalpel. You gonna be kidding me! I told her to stop immediately. Today is day after and whatever she did on my forehead my skin is burning still the next day. I am using a lot of calendula. 4. At the end she went to upsell me on a bunch of the products they had there, which looked like they were home made and self packaged. No control over beauty industry! 5. This is a typical instagram / millennial place. Aesthetician was pretty clueless and the overall experience was terrible. Don’t fall victim of influencer feeds like I did! ***owner did reach out offering to ā€˜fix’ the issue, which I respectfully declined. The fact that the owner reviewed security camera footage is just creepy (hope they don’t have cameras in the rooms!). Also I tipped the aesthetician well, because I felt bad. It’s not about her, but rather lack of training and proper protocol for managing new customers. Again, that’s what you get for going to a salon on Newbury. AVOID!!!*** Who are these people leaving positive reviews, ah instagram people that get free services. Owner reached out first politely then purely threatening. Wow that’s a first given I have been honest in my review. I guess honesty is no longer appreciated when the whole world is driven and motivated by instagram and $ they can make. Shame!

I've been getting facials for over a decade, and let me tell you, Skin Kind Treatments on Newbury Street is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the ambiance immediately transports you to a calm and peaceful place. The attention to detail is impeccable—everything from the soothing lighting to the cozy treatment rooms is perfectly curated to enhance your experience. Even the bathroom is a cool, stylish retreat!

I’ve seen it all in the world of facials, but this was the first time in a very long time that I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised. The use of a water suction gun was a unique and refreshing touch that left my skin feeling revitalized. The addition of spa music headphones was genius, allowing me to completely lose myself in the moment.

But the real highlight was the massage—it was unbelievably good! They even included my hands, which so many places often neglect. And as if all that wasn’t enough, the cold air gun at the end was the perfect, invigorating finish.

I am beyond thrilled to have discovered this new spot on Newbury Street. It’s hands down the best in town, and I can’t wait for...

Skin Kind is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing! The decor makes you feel relaxed and stress free. The staff is absolutely kind and very welcoming. Brandon is such a gem! Today was my second time, but first time with Brandon and what I love about him other than his knowledge on skin, is his authentic and genuine soul! He is very understanding and strives the best for his clients! I don’t see this with other companies/shops so I really appreciate that very much! I have been struggling with acne for about 4 years, and I have tried everything and spent a lot of money, but I am so happy I was able to find Skin Kind! I can already see improvement on my skin, and feel so much more confident! I don’t mind spending my money with Skin Kind because I trust and know Brandon is very skillful. He is very experienced and knowledgeable! I would totally recommend anyone to get a facial with Brandon! I am super excited to see my trajectory, and I know I will get the results I’ve wanted for so long! Couldn’t be more blessed and happy with Brandon! Overall, staff is amazing and is willing to assist with your...
