A little customer service goes a long way, and this place had ZERO. When my friend and I walked up to the bar to order oxygen, mind you, this was the first oxygen bar experience we've ever had, not only were none of the things we could order explained to us, it really seemed like the bartender wanted to fight us simply for visiting his establishment. My friend ordered a flavor, and I told him if I decided I wanted to do it, I'll do it later. His response was, "Uh, NO. If you want to do it, I need to know NOW." Given his aggression, I should've said no, but my friend and his parents had already said yes and I figured I should have the experience while I was here.

While he was hooking me up, he angrily muttered something to my friend's step-mom about how we kept changing our minds and were inconveniencing him because he can't keep track of all our times. It wasn't until my friend verbally confronted him, and told him we were simply deciding on our options because we'd never been to an oxygen bar before, and that we were paying for this service, that he had a complete 180 degree turn in his attitude.

It was too late by then, though. He made a point to let my friend's dad know that he received "a lot of extra time" because he allowed him to continue to use the oxygen while the rest of us got our 20 min session.

I will never return there. The way we were treated as guests in his establishment was unacceptable, and if the product you sell is based on a time limit, then figure out a way to time everyone, and don't put that on your customers. While I'm mentioning it, I'm pretty convinced I got filtered air, since I couldn't smell any flavoring at all during my 20...

So, this is one of my favorite places in Boulder. Until my last five (seriously, not exaggerating) non visits, I would have given five stars. Amazing menu of tonics and some of the best gluten and dairy free deserts anywhere! Sadly though, the woman who works there most evenings closes shop whenever she wants to go home (at least that is how it appears to me). Exactly one year ago I tried to take my wife for a birthday treat, they were not open and it was still early on a weekend. The next three times I visited, each time I walked in at a reasonable hour and within the times listed online and she told me they were closing. Today, one year since the first instance, I called and she said they would close promptly at 7, even though the listing in the web says 8. I drove there (25 minutes from my house) to get a desert to go for my wife’s birthday and the doors were locked at 6:50. Again, not exaggerating. I am hoping the owners will see this and consider changing their business practices around closing and enforce them with employees. It seems to me the owners of this well curated establishment have an offering they are trying to bring to the Boulder community that is just as important as revenue they make from customers. Sadly, at least from my experience, my guess is too many folks are not getting a chance to experience what tonic has to offer based on how the woman who closes the shop many nights decides when to...

I love Tonic! Mark, the owner, is loved by all of the many regulars that frequent this fantastic spot. Mark is a wonderful person who knows every one of his customers by name, knows their drink, seating preference, and if they want him to, their lives.

The menu is extensive and delicious, including more than just "flavored" oxygen. Jun, ling, tinctures, potions, teas and more, not to mention the amazing raw and vegan desserts in the fridge.

Tonic is a great place to come with friends to catch up or chill out, or to come alone and relax or even get some work done.

If you've been skeptical about coming here, just come. It's totally worth it.

I come to Tonic oxygen bar regularly, because it makes my overall health and happiness robust. Mark the owner is awesome, and the goods he serves here are amazing. I am sitting here right now enjoying the benefits of the amazing essential-oil infused oxygen, I chose "Joy" and "inspiration" and I am really feeling these things, and I am not just some hippie "believing" this. . . I come here all of the time and just noticed how extra good I was feeling. I am also drinking an amazing chocolate tea that I had never had before with sarsparilla and it is absolutely nourishing...

This place just easily became one of my favorite places in Boulder. They have VEGAN and GF dessert. Some of the most mouthwatering and melt-in-your mouth delicacies. I was absolutely blown away by their tiramisu and blueberry cheesecake. I have to stop myself from driving there and clearing them out every time I’m in Boulder. Let’s also talk about the oxygen bar real quick. I haven’t experienced serenity and clarity as I did when I had some oxygen. I felt like I was levitating. My body felt so happy and thankful for some precious oxygen that I didn’t know it needed. Now I’m planning on making this a self care stop for myself as well as a place to get a tasty treat ;) The owner also works here and is SUCH a delight of a human! Great and safe atmosphere she clearly tries to establish.

this place is such a vibe. came here the first day in search of one of their cacao elixirs. delicious. the interior is situation like a comfy cozy living room with a bar decorated with all the fixings. the menu as a bit overwhelming for me at first (so many options !) but we decided to come back a second day. round 2 we decided to go all out. i had the respiration aroma for 20 ish minutes of oxygen, and we ordered probiotic chilled drinks that were such unique flavor combos and uber yummy. I can’t forget to mention the one and only charlie mac… Unfortunately this is my review from last years trip I am so backed up. But Charlie Mac is cool as hell and made the entire experience that much more wonderful.

My family and I drive in from Roxbourough/Chatfield area. It's probably about an hour and fifteen minute drive, but let me tell you the drive is 100% worth what Tonic Alchemy Lounge has to offer. We've been coming in more than usual lately, but it's been wonderful! From the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, to the amazing drinks and awesome staff there's really nothing to complain about. The beverages and oxygen therapy is something you MUST try! As a college student I can also vouch that this would be an awesome place to come to either study or simply wind down. Love this place, & cannot wait to come back! Shout out to Charlie Mac too, he always treats my family so well! 💫
