Friendly staff but overworked and stressed. Branch had lobby closed multiple times due to short staffing. In office have one banker K and teller Chris who are amazing and always have smiles on their face even with a long line in the lobby and drive up buzzing. They hired some new people but they always seem to need some help but the banker K always running around to help take care of his team with a smile. Bankers are stuck at the teller line and have no time taking care of client. There is a new Manager but he/she sits in the office with blinds and door closed, only coming out to help when it beneficial to them. Executive and branch Leadership are to be blamed. They hired a leader who hides in the office and have a team who are doing their best to keep the bank going without any support. Need to find better leadership who cares for the team. Read moreThis is what was told to me by their Branch Manager or VP. His response to a refund for a second overdraft charge was, "Well, I can't help you. Unless you're going to do 10s of $1,000s a month in transactions with us, I can't help, why don't you take your business to TD Bank or someplace else." My response was, "you're going to lose a customer over a $40 charge" which he replied, "get out of my office, I don't consider you a customer".
It was all because their overdraft protection doesn't pay the charge like some other banks, it only blocks it. If the first one would've just paid the $20, I would've paid the $40 in overdraft fees and been fine. The main problem I have is, he's a VP and refused to offer ANYTHING in writing about overdraft charges, said he only helps people with $10,000 or more in their account, and told me as a small bank they don't work with the smaller customers, go with another bank like TD. Error after error and then assessed charges on banks error. Spent months trying to straighten out their mess with promises of charges to be refunded. Still waiting on that since Oct 2016.
