New York Haircut — Local services in Boynton Beach

I'm so upset with this place! Four months ago my husband went for a simple buzz cut like he always gets and trim his beard! The guy had patches all over his head and beard it was AWFUL! I thought it was a joke and after spending that money my husband came home and had to fix it himself! He went a second time and someone else did the simple hair cut (he didn't let them touch his beard)....he just went today and they messed up his entire beard! It's a BEARD! How hard is it to stay in the line of somebody's beard they literally went so high up he looks RIDICULOUS! what was his idiot even thinking? We're talking basic basic stuff! He will never ever ever be going their again and I will be sure to let others know! We won't even have to say anything they will just look at him and know! I never wrote bad reviews as I know how harmful that can be to a business but money so waisted both times, The inconsistency is extremely concerning and I feel for how bad it ha been both times and especially today it's important to let the company know and others to be aware! Who goes to the barber shop and has to come up to clean up their mess!? RIDICULOUS $40 WAISTED between the two really big mess ups and one that was just so so! And remind you his beard and hair is EASY so bless anyone who has any type of complicated hair! Three cuts three different people and no one can do it (two out of three completly did it WRONG AND MESSED UP COMPLETLY)! You owe USSSSS money for even going there! Never ever ever again! Money waisted don't do it! I would t even give one star but I had to innorder to spare anyone else from this...

100% hands down best barbershop experience I’ve had in a long time down here (in Florida), especially Boynton Beach. You can’t go wrong with this fine establishment called New York Haircut, especially if you are from New York (or the tri-state area).

I had chose to walk-in about 1 hour before closing and Nick took me at 5:15, 45 minutes before closing time, which was great that he was willing to give me a cut before closing time. I totally appreciated that.

We had a very long chat for this time period in which he is also very easy to talk to which makes the time go by quickly while getting a fantastic cut. I asked for a skin fade and my fade and top of my head now looks spectacular for my new job I am starting on Monday; so I am very happy.

It’s not just the haircut or the guy who happens to also share my first name (who is also my new only barber I’ll ever go to) that I rate this experience for, but the shop is clean, well lit, very relaxed vibe in here, and receptionist is both attentive and easy to work with as well.

I have a difficult beard to shave, so I don't treat myself to these old-school barber shop shaves very often, but every time I've gone here, regardless of who's chair I've sat in, I have gotten a close and relaxing shave. I have received horrible shaves at OTHER establishments, so when I got a great shave from Rodney, I stuck with him from that point forward...until he wasn't available one day and I had to take a shot with Nick(?), since then, I've been in Ross' chair too, and (so far) have had nothing but great experiences with everyone there...with haircuts as well as shaves. I saw the review from the woman, and honestly, I am not surprised...since I wouldn't think "barber shop" would come to mind for "women's hair cut"...but I can HONESTLY recommend this place to any guy who's got $20.00 for a haircut or...
