Went in because I needed my A/C drain cleaned and unclogged cause my front passenger floor was wet. They had best quote for that article in the area, only $21. Goodyear quoted me $35-40. Set an appointment for 11am the next day. Got there few minutes late. Technician comes out to get vehicle info and inspects my tires. Tells me the backs have tread of 6 remaining but my fronts are down to 3 and I should get them replaced. He gives me quotes for three sets, but I say not today, just the A/C cleaning please. Also asked for a quote to replace my front door actuator. So when I go to pick up the car, i deal with another technician. They had done an complementary inspection, & tell me "Your tires are good. You've got 6s on your backs and 5s on your fronts. WHAT a MIRACLE! My front tire tread magically improved from 3 to 5 while they worked on the car!!! 😮😲 Either that, or they were really never that low to begin with, and I was lied to. 🤔 You be the Judge ... 🤔 Invoice identify my service technician as David. Not sure if that was the one who checked me in, or checked me out. Quoted me $580 to replace the front door actuator. Invoice lists part for + $211 which they need to order from the dealer + $360 for labor. I watch a YouTube video of someone who does the job in under a half hour, so even if that takes a full hour, thats a labor rate of $360 per hour - YIKES). I found similar part on Amazon for $40 (obviously not an OEM part from the dealer). I was also told my brakes need replacing, and quotes me $1300 TOTAL (after 2 $40 off coupons 🤣🤣) to replace ceramic disc pads and rotors on both front & back axles, including almost $700 in labor. They just have a charge for "LABOR" ... $227.50 for the front & double that, $455 on the back. Doubt the back brakes take twice as long to replace, however, there is no breakdown of how much they charging for each hour of labor. Yeah, i understand Labor is not cheap if you want the job done correctly, but at least tell me the hourly rate I'm being charged to justify the quote. Until then, I'll be going elsewhere.

This morning I went to firestone, I never have a problem, but this morning I was extremely irritated. I had an appointment at 7am to get a oil change and a tire rotation. Everything was going fine. I checked out and paid with the young man at the counter. The young man that originally checked me in told me that I would need tires the next time I come in for an oil change. I said, okay thank you very much for letting me know. I head home to pick up my son for school. When I notice that my car was making a rattling sound. I took my car back to firestone, and I explained to the guy at the counter what the issue was, we walked outside to my car and he looked under the hood. He pointed out that my skid cover was hanging. He stated that most likely that was what was making the rattling sound. He asked me for the receipt. I handed it to him. He saw that Roger was the one that serviced my car. Roger told him that my skid cover was already hanging, which was not true. In order for Roger to change my oil, he needed to remove the skid cover. I guess I wasn't supposed to know that as a woman. Where is Roger's ownership in making the mistake? Roger failed to screw my skid cover back on properly!! Instead of apologizing, he said it was already like that and didn't even apologize for the mistake. Thank God It wasn't anything worse.

Update - The app doesn't have the receipt either. So not only does the salesman lie, theCS lies too. I was told service would take 2 hours. I was there for 5 hours & no updates were given. If I didn't inquire how much longer, I would still be there! As soon as I inquired they gave it to me so either work was not done or it was done & they were not planning on telling me. They said receipt would be emailed to me but I never received a receipt. So I have no way of knowing what was done. Their customer service is worse than their shop. The salesman lied to me when I asked for a receipt & customer service is not willing to rectify their lying staffs lies. I don't have time to drive back to location for the receipt. Shameful !

i ADVISE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS BEFORE TAKING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS service. I regret not going to some mom and pop mechanic after the experience I had. Fire stone had my car for a total of seven days Saturday-Sunday, then Saturday to Wednesday. I originally took my car in for a misfiring engine and an oil change. Those two things got fixed and during those repairs they informed me one of my engine mounts was broken. I asked them how critical was it that I got that repaired and they said not critical but issues would come up later on if i did not have it repaired. I asked would my car break down soon if I did not immediately have it repaired. They said no. I told them okay do not fix that I will handle it with another mechanic. They fix everything else. I pick it up, pay $1100 dollars, drive down to Lawrence road, less than 2 minutes from the shop, my check engine light turns on and my car starts stuttering. I call them again and tell them whats happening and they say I will need to bring it back in for repairs. Considering I had work all of the next week I brought it in first thing in the morning the following Saturday. I drop it off and they later call me to inform me I now have two broken engine mounts and a ripped air hose. Which will equate to nearly $700 in repair costs. After awhile of arguing about me specifically asking would the engine mount pose an immediate issue and them telling me no they decide to not charge me for labor which took off about $300 dollars. I was thankful for this and said okay. They had to order the part from the dealer, it took until Tuesday to get there because the dealer sent the wrong part the first time. Not there fault I understood. Tuesday I get a call, hey, so we noticed your radiator has a minor leak but it should be that big of an issue if you do not fix it now since it would be expensive. Considering I literally just went through this I tell them no, I refuse to drive my car out of the lot with damaged equipment only to have it breakdown on my with even more repairs needed. They say okay the repairs will be about $500 dollars. ME being naive I actually believed it is something they just noticed. I told my father and he told me they most likely broke it while working on the engine mount and now want me to pay to repair it. I call the manager Wednesday since he already left Tuesday and argue with him over the phone about them repairing my radiator. He tells me they could not have damaged my radiator since they were not working anywhere near it. Mind you, the front engine mount is directly below the radiator in my car... Then he asks me do I think it is fair that I expect to get a free radiator repair from them. I say yes considering as of right now it appears that they were the ones who damaged it. He also told me not to call corporate because they would just give him my number and I would be speaking to him again. I ended up calling corporate later (very good experience) He ends up agreeing to repair it for $250. I agree because I need my car back for work for the rest of the week. I pick it up, in total comes out to, low and behold... $700. I pay it, go home, call corporate, try to lodge a complaint but they file it as a vehicle damage claim which makes sense. Customer support on the phone was lovely. They were calm and concise. I also wrote this extremely long review in the hopes that no one will experience the abysmal service I just did.

UPDATE: About a week after writing this update, a Firestone vehicle damage claim specialist called me and told me he had spoken to the general manager of the Firestone, but still wanted to hear my side as well. I explained the ordeal to him and he stated, "It makes no sense why the manager put you through this. He should have fixed your radiator immediately, and informed you afterwards that they had damaged it but it has been repaired." I agreed with him, he reimbursed me for what I spent to repair the radiator, apologized for what occurred, and sent me on my way. Overall, fantastic...

Highlights: Tires put on wrong wheels Told tires would be install in a day, almost took three days before I complained Was almost sold an alignment that I didn't want (twice) Told multiple times manager was too busy to talk Ray and Mario are good people trying to make the best out of a poorly managed system

Came in on a Sunday to have a punctured tire repaired. The puncture was close to the side wall so they recommended a replacement of the tire which I agreed with and while I was there I decided to get a second tire. I worked with Mario who ordered the tires. Luckily I confirmed with Mario that I wanted the factory Goodyear tires that come stock with my car as they were going to order the Firestone equivalent. Thought it was a bit unprofessional to assume the customer just wanted the tires that Firestone sold when the other tires on the car wouldn't match.

Mario assured me the tires would be delivered and installed on Monday. On Monday I called Mario in the mid afternoon to check on the progress. He assured me that they would be installing the tires today even though they hadn't come in yet. At 5:00 pm I called again and spoke with a different tech who was alarmed to hear that I was expecting to have two tires installed today. They company delivering the tires was late and wouldn't be delivering until tomorrow. He tells me that they would have the tires on my car as soon as possible after they come in Tuesday morning. I was understanding since somethings are out of their control.

Tuesday afternoon rolls around and I call to find how things are going. Ray informs me that Mario isn't working today and looks up my tire order while I'm on the phone. He confirms my tires have been delivered and then asks me if my car has been dropped off.... He also mentions a "life time alignment that they are going to perform" I quickly explain I don't have an existing alignment plan with them and I don't want their alignment. I explain the situation and that I have been out of a car now a day longer than expected. Seems very unorganized, If they don't have someone calling and bothering them, it won't get done.

Next I receive a call at 5:40 PM on Tuesday from Ray. "It's bad news" Ray says, they can't install the tires today because they had a couple guys call out and are behind. At this point I'm pissed, clearly my car had been forgotten until the late afternoon and nobody prioritized a customer that had been waiting since Sunday in front of people that had been walking in same day. I explained that this was not acceptable. Ray puts me on a quick hold and comes back to explain that he talked to the manager and they were going to "perform a miracle for me" and have my tires installed and I could pick my car up around 6:20 PM. Guys, it's not a miracle when you are already over promising and under delivering...

I go down to pick up my car. Right after I look at the car in the parking lot I can tell something is wrong. The new tires that they told me they would install on the BACK of the car were installed on the FRONT. Ray tells me that this is a mistake and that I will have to come back at another time to have the tires rotated. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I never yell or cuss in these situations because I've worked in customer service but I really wanted to this time.

I requested to talk to a manager but Ray declined explaining that the manager was "too busy" helping pick up the slack from the two guys that called out. UNACCEPTABLE.

To put the cherry on the cake, there are fingerprints all around the outside of my driver door, not just on the parts you would typically expect like the door piller and handle but on the trim under the window and the paint below the trim under the window. All over. Then the tech left some type of device in my car, which I returned.. It's so hard to find a good place to work on your car.... I know Ray and Mario tried but I think the processes and people behind them are the underlying problem and...

I brought my car into the Boyton Beach location #026816 for an engine diagnostic to determine cause of an intermittent check engine light and rough idle. I saw the ad for the $9.99 A/C check so thought since summer is coming I would have it checked out. It was operating normally up until the time I arrived at the store other than taking a little longer than normal to get cold. When the adviser called to tell me my car was done he let me know the cause they found for the rough idle and gave me the option to have them repair it or do it myself since it was a fairly easy repair. At first he said the intake manifold would have to be removed to change two ignition coils and I assured him that's not true becuse I had them all out before to change the spark plugs. He said that may be true but he has to go by what the repair manual shows. So if it takes 20 minutes am I still charged 3 hours labor? As far as my air conditioning he said there was a leak in the condensor probably caused by a rock or other object hitting it and creating a hole. I told him it must be a very small hole because I've only had to add refridgerant about once a year since I've owned the car. He said nevertheless the repair would cost about $1,000 total so I said since it's still working fine I would decline for now. After paying for the diagnostic service and leaving the store I noticed the air conditioner was now only blowing hot air. I returned to the store to ask what happended during the a/c check becasue it was working when I drove to the store. The man who seemed like the manager on duty, I did not catch his name, told me there was no refridgerant in my a/c system when they brought it into the shop. This is an absolute lie becasuse it has been cooling fine the past year and half I've owned the car including the morning I drove to the Firestone location. He said you have a leak thererfore all the refrigerant had leaked out. He offered to evacuate and recharge the system for a charge of $160 after telling me there is a leak in the system which is against federal law to do. He refused to believe the a/c was cooling when I dropped the car off. Someone in the shop must have either made a hole somewhere in my system or purged out the refridgerant I'm assuming so I would have the repair done then. This is totally unacceptable. I've been a loyal Firestone customer for over 10 years and have recommended many people to the company for tires and service. Unfortunately, this relationship has now ended due to being lied to and feeling scammed. I have since put refridgerant back in the system myself since I do many repairs on my own and so far it seems to be cooling fine. If it does leak out over the next few days I will know my a/c system was sabatoged by the technician at the store. My service adviser was Nicholas and I believe the tecnician's name was Tony. As long as I don't beleive there was further damage done to my vehicle at the Firestone location creating a bigger problem I don't expect any restitution. Just want to say buyer beware of you decide to bring your car to these guys.

Update After about a month with me recharging my A/C system myself it's working perfectly and Ice cold. So where is this...
