Let’s start with scheduling online, I would schedule my appointment online and some of the time I would get a call the day of asking if they Could switch my appointment and I would do my best to accommodate them however it didn’t always work out For me, but, I would try to make it work However, what’s the point of making an appointment online when you’re just going to get a call anyway half the time asking to reschedule. And then on top of that I had to go somewhere else one day that they did that to me because I guess I was under the impression my appointment needed to be changed because she had somewhere to be or something along those lines however, I believe it was just to accommodate someone else’s schedule. I’ve been going to this place for years. I made an appointment a few weeks ago and it was supposed to be a $40 appointment however I got charged $60. I paid $60 even though I told her just to fill and the online appointment was for $40, however, I got charged 60. I didn’t say anything. I just paid it. The next time it happened again I finally said something to the Person upfront, the person upfront could care less. I tried to show him my appointment and what it was supposed to be even though I told the person doing my nails that I wanted a fill and that was it no color change no nothing and it was supposed to be $40. She did my nails and then I still got charged 60 for gel fill which online is $40 or at least that’s what it’s advertised as. So like I said, I went up to the person upfront. He didn’t want to hear it. He could care less that all happened to me. So I called back that day asking if there was anything available to fix what was done and I was told in a few days, it was something so at the time I took it however this never would’ve happened if they just would’ve left my appointment alone as their notorious for calling and trying to change your appointment around as it’s happened to me multiple times. My nails have come out, uneven from Toi spa to the point where I actually wrote a comment on here and took it down because the nail tech not only cried and gave me a sob story, but she redid them, but this is the same nail tech that tried to overcharge me and then told the guy upfront that she refuses to do my nails anymore. I’m starting to see why the reviews are only a 4.5 rating now when they used to be higher. Today, my nails came out extremely thick as you could see above underneath she refused to fix the one I asked her to, and I was also told by the guy upfront that he canceled all my future appointments and that I have to call in from now on and be a walk-in and when I asked, how was that supposed to work when every time I’ve called in in the past, there’s Nobody available. This place is definitely gone downhill extremely downhill. Today the person that did my nails usually Was great no issues however this isn’t the first time I’ve walked out with my nails looking like garbage. It’s been multiple times and it wasn’t until I had to write a review that I was told to come back in later that day to fix them the first time. And then I deleted my review which I should’ve just kept up. I am extremely upset. I feel like this place should be given zero stars if I could’ve given zero I would have apparently I’m not the only person that’s had issues with the one nail tech that I’m talking about in the beginning as she no longer goes to that nail tech who used to be completely fully booked and now when you look online, she has openings all over the place. I am just extremely disappointed. But to be told after my appointment that all my online appointments were canceled and that I can only be a walk-in that is awful.

This was my first time at this nail spa, when booking my appointment I chose the option “any female staff” when I arrived I was placed with a woman who it was her first day. I was hoping for the best and everything went fine until I noticed a dot on each nail was put for the dehydrator and primer which I haven’t experienced at any other place. I showed a reference picture with the color and went up to the front with the lady to pick the color out. We sat down and I thought we were going to use that color but she went to the back and said she found a better color and used that one. This already took about 10 minutes just for the color so I was over it. I wasn’t asked until the lamp was curing my nails if the color was nice which I said it’s ok. Still hoping for the best I noticed a base coat wasn’t used which I am used to getting at every other nail salon. The finished product came out ok but ultimately was not happy. There was polish on my cuticles and the application was uneven. At the end of the appointment I was walked up and the front desk asked how my appointment was I was hesitant and stated it was ok. He asked why and I said you can tell she is new and expressed I wasn’t happy with my nails. He apologized and said yes she is new sorry are you available this week, I said no I am not because I work full time he said next weekend to give a call and someone will redo my nails. I wish someone was hovering over her or checking in especially since it was her first day. It is difficult enough for me to get a nail appointment with my schedule so it was disappointing I was told to just stop in next weekend. It would’ve been helpful to have my nails redone/ fixed when I was there but regardless the place was nice/ clean atmosphere and a kind staff. Attached below is the reference color and the outcome.

I never write reviews but I had such a phenomenal experience that I felt I NEEDED to write about it. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, especially Chris who did my nails. I have been getting my nails done for years all over in different places in the country and this spa easily is my new #1. Absolutely beautiful place and so beyond clean and organized. Chris was so beyond sweet & caring + didn’t try to gouge me and get more out of me then what I truly needed for my nails. I originally made a full set appointment but Chris looked at my nails and said I just needed a fill(which is way cheaper) and that’s what he did. He put his heart and soul into making sure my nail shape and length was perfect and exactly what I wanted. He went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with everything he did with my nails and I truly appreciate it. The people and place at Toi in Boyton are truly beautiful and everyone needs to experience it first hand(figuratively and literally).

I never ever leave bad reviews but I had to in order to be honest with others who will come to this place . I walked in today around 4:30 pm and asked up front if I can get a gel mani as a walk in, they said yes. I waited for the master. She came out , saw my nails and advised to get an overlay gel (hard gel) instead of regular polish gel because my nails were very brittle after I had clip ons for some time. And supposedly that would make it better and stronger. First she advised to glue a tip and I said “ we can’t put a tip with more glue on my nails because my desire is to make them stronger and don’t put more glue on top of already bad brittle nails I have is not what I would like to do “So she was ok with just putting that hard gel with no tip and glue. Ok so I asked how much would that hard gel be. She said $40 and then $20 more to put polish gel on top for color. Which is ridiculous pricing. Then the front desk man interrupted and said they will do it for $40 even though it’s $60 just because my nails are short. I was lost. One says $40 , then apparently they were giving me a discount. Ok we agreed on just hard gel which he said could be alaredy done in color and no need to put extra polish gel and pay $20 more. Even though 5 min before she said I still had to put more gel polish for color for $20 more. Ok I agreed to a hard gel which apparently did come in color and no need to pay extra for more gel polish . So shady already . I sit down and say “ just please cut my cuticle good and make sure nails look healthy , I want to take care of my nails and make them look healthy and clean”. She responded “oh no that’s $20 extra for cuticle”. I asked her how come? Isn’t the hard gel for $40 already includes a mani in itself? She said no , $20 extra for cuticle . I said “ I don’t want to pay $60 for a manicure that is supposed to include cuticle, now you are just throwing numbers at me to make it more expensive and make more money”. How can you charge $40 for a hard gel mani and not cut cuticle? How? So you just put gel on the nails without cutting cuticles? So what kind of manicure is it? The lady tells me “ don’t worry , if you don’t like it , you don’t have to stay , I am not holding you here”. What ? I go to the front and the front desk guy tells me “ oh yes , cuticle is not included “ you have to pay $10 extra. I lost it and left ! Guys, get your numbers and prices in order! $40, $20, $10? You are dealing with humans , you are offering beauty service , don’t treat customers like if they are stupid and dumb. This is just unacceptable! And then they expect a tip on top of that . Terrible customer service! I’ll be calling a better bureau and filing a claim. I have never been so disappointed with any...
