I would like to share an experience I had today at Bahia Bowels in Boynton Beach. Generally, I order their caesar salad two to three times a week. Sometimes I order it with chicken in it and other times without chicken. Earlier today I ordered a caesar salad with chicken for curbside delivery. When I got home I noticed there was no chicken in the salad, and when I looked at the receipt it did not show that I ordered chicken. When I went online to their website, it did confirm that I ordered the salad with chicken, and when I looked at my credit card online program it showed that I was charged the amount of the salad with chicken.
I called up Bahai Bowels in Boynton Beach and explained what happened. In virtually no time they confirmed that while I did in fact order the salad with chicken, for some unknown reason it did not reflect this on the order they received, yet it did charge me for the chicken. The owner immediately refunded me the price of the entire salad. I told him he did not have to do that because I did get the salad, just not the chicken. He obviously is well oriented in customer service.
I only brought this to their attention because I would not want to see other individuals experience the same or possibly worse issues due to a computer glitch.
The timeliness and sincerity of the way the owner of this location handled this issue was overwhelming. I was very impressed and can only say that they are a credit to our local business community and have clearly demonstrated to me their genuine concern for their customers. I explained what happened on the phone and the other guy knowing what i just said about life threatening allergies comes around and says well ours is way better than biscoff it tastes better. Read moreI've been so happy with my smoothies here but now will try someplace new. I get a green smoothie with water instead of almond milk, and add almond butter. I sometimes make other variations but every time (about 20 to date) the result has been delicious. Today's smoothie was lacking both taste and color...it didn't even look right. I debated returning it for a do-over and while I'm smoothie-less today I'm glad I did. The server insisted it was because I used water, even after hearing me explain 3 times I always order it that way. She said she called the owner to inquire re: a refund and that the owner said I could have my money back but not in the future if I order it that way. When I asked her to confirm the owner said that she was hesitant. There was another employee present who was helpful and asked what he might add, but the first server had already refunded me.
