UPDATE: I should have saved myself all the aggravation and gone directly back to Noah. He took care of everything, and accomplished what a good 25 reps over multiple departments failed to do. My review of Verizon stands, but Noah is 5 Stars. He should be training the people I have had to deal with. If it were possible to give Verizon minus 10 stars, it still would not make up for the ridiculous way they have treated a new customer, or make up for the lies I was told by the sales person who sold me my device, or the lies told by their customer service department, or the 6 hours of wasted time over a period of 3 days, or the endless transfers from one representative to the next, without even the courtesy of speaking to the next representative to update them on the situation, forcing me to repeat everything at least 50 times now. I have never been more dissatisfied or angry with any previous company I have done business with, as I am with Verizon. I thought Cricket had terrible customer service but next to Verizon, they would receive an A++ rating. The new job I was starting delayed my start date by a week and a half, putting it past the time my first bill was due. After 2 frustrating hours being passed from one representative to the next, each one saying they are unable to extend my payment due date until the 20th, when I would get paid, I finally said that was fine, and to transfer me to the retention department so I can cancel my account. I have worked as a retention agent for Spectrum, and I happen to know that with Spectrum at least, customers are valued, so they give the retention agents a wide variety of options to offer customers to save the account, and to avoid losing customers. Apparently I ended up in customer service, and the woman asked why I wanted to cancel my account and I explained that I didn't get paid until the 20th, and Verizon was not willing to extend the due date, so I had no other options. She said that was not a good reason to lose a new customer, and asked me to hold while she spoke to her supervisor, to get it approved for me to pay my bill on the 20th. She came back on the line and said that she had received approval, and that I had nothing to worry about, that I could pay my bill on the 20th. After the very frustrating couple of hours I had just spent repeating myself to representative after representative, I was grateful that it appeared that at least one person who worked for Verizon actually cared about their customers. However, the next day, I received a text message from Verizon saying my service was going to be suspended at midnight if I didn't pay my bill in full. So much for promises. Back on the phone with Verizon for an additional 2 hours, being passed from rep to rep, repeating myself again and again, until I finally hung up and called the corporate line, The woman who answered said she was going to do her best to help me, since I had been lied to, and so much of my time had been wasted. I had explained to every single representative that I had talked to that I didn't have money to pay until the 20th, including this one, and she gets back on the line and tells me she can only help if I make some type of payment, and even then, it was only a possibility. Never mind honoring what previous representatives had promised, and she told me I should try to borrow it or something, and she would call me back in 1 hour. Well I don't have anyone I can ask for money, and I guess it would not have made much difference because she never called anyway. If it wasn't for Noah, I would cancel my service immediately. Verizon owes him a debt...
Read moreThe representatives at this store are legendary, finally there is a place that provides pure hearted customer service. The two young men Alex, and Greg are always ready to help escort you from the dark realms and headaches of other service providers into the convenience and security provided by Verizon's cell service. I've worked with other providers in the past, and no one has the same level of dedication to satisfied customers and superior coverage. They will work until the end, to get you what you deserve. The manager, Anastasia, is always bright and smiling, ready to do what ever needs to be done to get you into a plan, and a device that suits your needs. She listened to what I use my phone for on a daily basis, and reccomended a phone that was affordable and performs perfectly for me. She even answered my questions about accessing and changing certain settings, when I called with questions the next day. The quality service doesn't end after the sale is made, and that is more than I can say about many places (like the verizon at Costco) There is no need to worry about upselling or pressure to buy "the latest and the greatest". when you're here it's just down to earth friendly people, who are there to help make your cellphone buying experience as smooth and easy as possible. This is the place to...
Read moreThe three phones we purchased from this location were pre-owned which was not disclosed to us. When we discovered the previous owner on our invoice at the store during checkout, the store manager denied that fact; he outright lied to us ans said they were activated during a training session at the store. When my phone rings my caller ID shows up as Larry someone. Also when I charge my phone it gets hot, very hot. No matter what type of charging devise I use. One of the phones has already been replaced. Stay away from this location. Work with Verizon directly; authorized dealers may seem like they are helping you skip the line but in the long run you will regret it. Update August 2023: the store contacted me regarding my one-star review and asked me to change it. They did not offer to solve the problem they passed along to me with selling us used phones. My phone still over heats on a charge. But I’m not spending more money on a new phone. I’ll just deal with this. Again, go to an authorized dealer to buy phones. There is no reason to park and walk into this store unless you need...
