Part of the joy for places like this is stacking. If you get a medium bowl and are able to stack as high as possible you shouldn't be penalized by having them automatically upgrade to the pricing for a large.
Overall food quality isn't bad, pretty generic of Mongolian BBQ places, frozen meat and seafood etc seem fresh. Nice choice of vegetables. A lot of other places like this offer complimentary rice and soup, however this place does not.
When we went, there were 2 grill masters, however they do this thing where they only cook 2 bowls at a time, and they rotate and swirl your food around the cooking surface. This means not only are you getting less of your own sauces, you are also getting a good portion of the sauce of your neighbor. At the end they all pretty much taste the same.
Apart from Mongolian BBQ we also ordered the broken rice dish with the pork chop. The rice wasn't actually broken, just long grain Jasmine which is fine, it tastes pretty much the same. The porkchop was very small for the price, but the taste was okay.
The service leaves much to be desired. It took us quite a long time for us to track down our waitress to be able to place our side orders. The environment is kind of hectic, since the food line is in the middle of the restaurant there's just constant foot traffic all around...

Here are couple things you need to know: 1). Cooking method is terrible!!!; spining the food around the grill table causes other customer's food cross contaminated with others. For example, I put peanuts in mine and some of the peanuts ended up in my boyfriend. So, it was a luckyly he doesn't have a peanuts allergy. I think this is need to be reported to the Health Department in Bozeman to warn them, so it doesnt make someone sick.
2). The prizes is way to high for quality of the food and the service the customers received it. For instance, we were double charged for our soda, which is ended up charging $8 for two soda!!?? It's ridiculous because imagine you can get $1 soda from McDonald's or other fast food restaurants. We're lucky for not refill for the third. Image the prize would be double like crazy.
3). The transparency; there is no explanation about the prices (Different Bowl sizes, different price). There is no information about the food prices.
The restaurant falty.
Due to this, we...
Read moreI never leave reviews, I don't care to, but since the owner doesn't seem to care much about customer satisfaction, here we go. Little forewarning before you eat here; for 4 adults and 2 children under 7 years it cost us $110. This not only included a forced 15% gratuity charge, as posted in their restaurant, for being seated at a "big table", but they also charge a 4% fee for paying with a card and an extra gratuity for the kids, which jacked their bowls up to adult price. When I asked about the "custom item" on our receipt we were told that it's the 15% forced gratuity, or forced tip, and that they have tried to talk to their boss about it but they can't do anything. Their menus and prices online are out of date, as well. For the small bowl, it's now about $10. The service was not very good, either. My husband asked them to clean the hibachi due to his fish allergy and the guy was rude about it. We enjoyed our food, but the amount we got for what we paid, plus the ridiculous fees and gratuities, were unacceptable. We will never go here again, we were very very upset with this place. Hopefully you all and your wallets will be saved from being scammed by...
