We stayed here for 2.5 months for business. After that long, you get to know a hotel pretty well. The front desk staff is very kind. Josh is the best, very understanding and always kind. The breakfast was a little lacking for such an expensive hotel. Imitation eggs, preheated waffles, and begels. The housekeeping staff does your room every other day, which is understandable and fine, until they "forget to come in" 3 of your house cleaning days in a row, which is equivalent to a week. Every now and then they would not enter our room, even when we did not have the little sign on the door telling them to stay away. They often forget toilet paper and we would have to ask for some. They would make our bed with stained sheets, and would only change them if I stripped the bed before leaving for work in the early morning. They won't make the bed if you leave anything on it. The laundry machines were nice, although very expensive. The fridges in the room don't have a freezer compartment, and ours would barely get cold enough to keep food safe. The gym and pool areas are quite nice, we used them almost daily. There seems to always be staff cleaning so the facility itself is always clean, which is very nice. One irritating thing was trying to control the room temperature. The air unit at the window worked well, although loud, but there was a vent by the door always spitting out hot air no matter what you set the temperature at, and we couldn't get it to stop. It would stay pretty warm because of that, which got annoying because we like it cold and couldn't cool the room down much. The rooms are average. The showers are very nice, with nice pressure. The location was great for our needs, but anyone who wants to spend time downtown might want one a little closer. The hotel is a nice one for a couple days for sure. We were comfortable other than some small issues, but after that long in a hotel I think it's hard to still think it's nice as when you first got there. I really do recommend this hotel, just as long as you don't mind checking the sheets when they get...
Read moreNice hotel appears to be fairly new property. Service was not what I expected when paying $300 to $400 a night. Checked in on Sunday and tried Gallatin's the lobby bar. The service, food and beer were disappointing which set the tone for the rest of the 5 day stay. There were two young men working the bar who seemed overwhelmed with approximately 10 customers including our party of 6. After waiting an extended amount of time, while the two bartenders disappeared in the kitchen. We ordered drinks and food. Three bottles of Blue Moon must have been in stock for while since it was skunked. The food was also lackluster. The boneless wings were dry and tasteless while the bone in wings were undercooked the skin was white and rubbery. Its obvious the kitchen is a warm and serve and not fresh cooked kitchen. We left and went to Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom across the street. On Monday we spent an enjoyable day in Yellowstone only to come back and find housekeeping did not clean the room. I was surprised to learn that you get housekeeping only Tuesday and Thursday. How ridiculous Covid is over what is reasoning now. When you pay top dollar for a room you expect service. Back in the day even Motel 6 cleaned your room every day for $29.95. On Tuesday housekeeping came. The bed was made and trash was emptied but nothing else was addressed. We still had dirty glasses, no toilet paper, the vent over the toilet hasn’t been cleaned for some time and dirty towels were left in a pile in the bathroom. They must have forgot them, what they didn’t forget was the QR code on the dresser asking for a tip. I took the dirty towels down to the front desk. The clerk took them and returned with clean towels and roll of toilet paper. The clerk didn’t have a problem with replacing the items but didn’t give good customer service. She should have said something like” sorry for the inconvenience” or “I will see it doesn’t happen again.” Once again subpar service for the money 3 star hotel charging 5...
Read moreCheck in was easy, Beth at the front desk was great and she also handled the bar area at the same time which was quite busy. It was nice there was a bar and some snack food to order so we did not have to get back out on the road which was convenient after a long day. We usually would go into downtown Bozeman for dinner, but it was later in the evening and we were pretty beat from outdoor activities all weekend. We ordered the ham and cheese wrap and a quesadilla, they were both satisfying and they had wine and several beers on tap. The rooms are very large, very clean and stylish with comfy beds and plenty of storage. Good lighting in the bathroom and counter space. Shower water temperature was uneven and changed from cool to hot on its own both times each of us showered, but not terrible. Coffee/tea in the lobby was nice, the pool was shut down due to apparently an earlier contamination incident and there was too much chlorine smell in the area to get into the hot tub. The main issue for me was thin walls and a loud heating/air conditioning unit making it difficult to get a good nights rest. We turned off the heat/fan, but could even hear the unit in the room next to us turning off and on during the night. The highway noise as others have mentioned was not a bother for us. Breakfast was just ok lots of choices, but low-quality super thin bacon, weird scrambled eggs, and the English muffins were really stale. They did have a large selection of other items (dry turkey sausage, fruit, waffles, pancakes, cereal, yogurt granola and bread). They may benefit from an extra service person during breakfast rush bc they were out of the hard boiled eggs, sliced ham and cheese that I never saw until they were replenished at the end, so I did not know they had those items until I had already eaten the other items. The lady working breakfast was doing as best as she could, just seemed like she could use some help as it was...
