This is the mall that has the new Super Target and the Five and Above, no, Five and Below store 🤦🏻♀️. It used to house Kmart, which was better, but since they went out of business, I guess Target will have to do. We needed SOME kind of variety store (or whatever you can call them these days) that carries just about everything you need on this end of town.
It's good they remodeled and filled that end of the mall finally, but now the other end is empty... The crook of the elbow, so to speak. There used to be a Tai Kwon Do dojo in there, and a couple other businesses, but they've boarded up shop and left the corner empty, which is sad. That's a beautiful corner, with grass and pretty landscaping, but the signage isn't great back there, so I imagine getting customers back there was difficult. Still, it would be nice if they could fill those empty storefronts BEFORE they started (continued) building hundreds of other storefronts in the county. That's the problem with the commissioners and developers in this area. They don't care about the empty storefronts and residences that are out there waiting for people to come fill them. They just see empty land or potentially empty land and think, "Hey! We could build houses and stores there!", even though there are tons of empty ones waiting to be filled elsewhere in the county... 🤦🏻♀️ Such...

It's probably because of that, why I also remember when one of the guys in management at a company I worked for a decade ago shared a number of psychological manipulation methods he learned in school with me as part of my training to interview candidates for an engineering position. To him, it seemed completely fine to use these devices on people to get them to do things or share information they might not otherwise feel with.
And it is because I have insight into how this culture of sociopathy has crushed so many brilliant and creative minds of my generation into poverty and crippling depression. Their full potential squandered so that this small, relatively uninteresting segment may prosper. It is because I cannot force these thoughts from my mind that this nostalgia quickly turns to nausea.
And therefore, I rate this location 50% good, 50%...

It's all new and clean with a good selection of housewares. Hopefully, a better selection when all the backed up ships get delivered. Didn't see any small appliances...I was looking for a new coffee pot. However, I didn't leave empty handed, of course! Lol. There's plenty for every room of the house and we had fun looking around! Outlet...
