Anna Maria Island Vacation Rentals — Local services in Brandenton Beach

This was our third visit to Anna Maria , My wife and another couple recently stay at a two double bedroom place on Homles Beach called Peach Bellini and booked it for this reason. We Picked this place as we have stayed close by in the past and it is very close to the beach. We arrived at 3.35pm and found a note on the side of Pool saying not be used until futher notice! I let myself in to use the phone to call letting agent to report this and was spoken to in a very rude manner by lady who was not happy that we had let ourselves in 25 mins early with no real care for why I was actully phoning! even thoough I explained we had not touch or moved anything , she barked down the phone at me that if it had not had its final inspection then we would have to take house as we had found it !! even after I had tried to explain I had just picked up the phone to call them and we were happy to wait outside or go next door where we had friends already staying, .When we were put through to maintanance ,much nicer person and the pool was sorted for us to use , although during the week there were a couple of occasions where we we not able to use the pool for couple of hours! The house was very clean and resonably well equiped with great TV's ,But just lacked that extra inside and outside to make it stand out from others ,Inside there is no Fan in the second Bedroom, you dont always want the nosey air con banging out in the middle of the night, there was no kettle, maybe this is just a Brit thing? some of the crockery had seen better days. Outside only two sunbeds were available and genaral garden furiture fairly basic , I did point out the lack of sunbeds on orginal phone call about the pool and the manner in which I was spoken to? we had no call back! The garden is quite overgrown , so great for privacy but by 3.30pm most of pool is in the shade. In saying the above , We love staying in this part of the Florida and will be back just...

Disgraceful manager, Disgraceful condo, all the floorboards were coming apart, NO internet, NO wi-fi, Air conditioning vents leaking and broke, shelf in the fridge broke, disgusting smell like raw sewage, rust ridden shower rails and the worst thing were COCKROACHES. But to top it all off when I told the manager, Terry, he said he found my compalints to be Offensive and Threatening. We had paid thousands of dollars for a two week stay in what should have been a 5 star stay, we got a 2 star BUG infested, rusty condo that stunk to high heaven. Terry told us that this condo had just been FULLY REFURBISHED, who did the refurbishment?.....A wrecking crew? We would NOT, in any way shape or form recommend this condo, If you do not believe me look at the pictures and videos. I am glad its not Smellyvision you would have been as sick as a dog. Do not forget that he now wants $4,500.00 per 2 weeks. Now look at the reply from the Manager, Terry, but the PHOTOS and videos say it all. You just cannot charge thousands and thousands of dollars for this type of condo, there are dozens more on Anna Maria Island for far far less and in much much much better condition. Terry’s rental options are all star.

There’s plenty of room , our unit was freshly refurbished, had a washer, dryer, and plenty of beach items from a wagon to chairs.

We were in need of one item that was not working properly and the owner replaced it before we even got back from our morning outing which is outstanding!

Communication from rental firm to renter are top notch & keyless access a total bonus and not common so this is a big deal!

We loved that we had 2 parking spaces and very easy access to the beach.

The beach was white sand, plush and really warm water especially during January.

This rental was close to wicked cantina and Cortez bridge making it fast and easy to find food and get across the island with minimal traffic since the bridge is so close!!

The only thing we would have liked in addition to our amenities was a safe but that is hardly a deal breaker, just a thought.
