Agape Chic Consignment Boutique — Local services in Riverview

I was referred to this boutique by a close friend. Now, shopping online is very familiar to me, so I was prepared for the standard or usual expectations. I can tell you right now, this place provides a unique experience for their customers. First off, the items are coming to you (the buyer) in exceptional condition. The pricing is also outstanding depending on which live show you watch and shop at. These are designer items. Actually the items and names that are in my closet. Another thing worth mentioning is the staff members. They make the whole shopping experience so much fun. It is a total blast. I have loved every item bought. A few were too big, but easily fixed. Due to the pricing, I felt so happy to just gift them to family members. They loved receiving a surprise gift. This boutique has such a nice selection of items. Top, shorts, pants, dresses, sweaters, jackets, shoes, jewelry etc. You just cannot go wrong. With all this said, every employee there is just wonderful. Had a very bad experience in this store for the first time. I have done business in the past and went great, very cordial and welcoming. Today I left in tears because of the less then caring attitude by the owner. Was looking for extra money to fly him from Minnesota to see him for the last time. Yes I know it's there store their decisions on how they want things brought in. I would have gone to buy hangers. Freshly laundered items with tags such as Loftt. Battling stage 4 cancer- not to oh poor me but give perspective. Would have liked to have been treated a little kinder. I don't care how they respond to this, but YES there are people out there with actual emotions. May have caught them on a bad day but I hope they don't forget what their store name stands for. My fiancé and I brought a load of very nice dresses, some brand new never worn, in to be put on consignment. I had kept quiet letting my fiancé tell the ladies what we were wanting to do. We had arrived 3 minutes passed their time for accepting consignments but they allowed us in anyway. I thought that gave them the one star. As one woman began going through the clothes everything seemed fine until I spoke. I am caucasian Latina with colored hair and can blend in with any other Floridian however, my accent gives me away. Immediately she snatched up a dress, walks to the back and a different lady comes out complaining about cigarette smoke smell on the garments. Which really tells me they don’t sanitize the clothes after they receive them! And they don’t like Hispanics!
