Mia & Rozi's Boutique — Local services in Brandon

Walked in today with a dress that I figured my mother had bought there on sale. I was going to try and exchange it, but I figured they would say NO! I have told my mom not to buy gifts from Green Boutique (which they also own) because they have the same no returns/exhanges on sale items policy. I did not even get it completely out of the bag and the salesperson immediately said, No returns on sale items. (So, she obviously knew it was one of their items.) They will not work with you at all. I am not asking for cash, just a store credit. The tags were still on the item. This happened at Green Boutique for my birthday last year and I just left the item on the counter and walked out. This year I decided I will just consign it rather then allow them to resell it and pocket more. If you need a gift do not buy a sale item from here. They will not extend any courtesy. I will once agan reiterate to my mother not to shop for me at either store anymore, because I find it very annoying that a small business will not work with a customer. Visited Thurs 5/21 with my sister who is from out of town. She fell in love with a pair of Blowfish shoes, which happened to be on sale (50% off). She wasn't home a few days and her puppy got a hold of one and chewed one of the straps. I ran down today, 5/26 and although they didn't have her size in the same color, the sale sign was still up and I figured I'd just get a different color. I Shared the dog story with the sales associate (who sold my sister the first pair) and mentioned how much she loved the shoes. I went to check out and handed her the cash. She mentioned the amount, which was full price. I said I thought they were 50% off, and I turned to the display where the sign was when I walked in and she said that was last week's sign that was left up by mistake. I have been several times already and this is one of my favorite stores ever!! they have some of the cutest and trendiest clothes and the employees are the sweetest!! highly recommend...
