The Water Hole Sports Bar — Restaurant in Florida

A true old neighborhood place. Great atmosphere, great place to run into old friends and find laughter you forgot about. Until a certain woman comes on shift. She acts really busy even though it's not. She disappears in the back and returns very flustered. She abandoned the bar completely to go outside to fist fight another patron of the establishment and then when pulled back in and reminded she was at work, continued to tell me to wait for service as her and the other server gathered up and talked about whatever it was they were fighting over. When I interrupted the drama fueled group to simply ask for a refill after 10 minutes, I was told I was rude. NO!!!! What is rude is... being a hosting public establishment and that type of BS going on in the middle of the day and then continuing on with more nonsense instead of trying to keep the business that was still there. No problems with anyone else other than this specific lady. Nasty attitude for no reason.... UPDATE!!!!! Now the younger, punk generation, is sucker punching the older patrons in the face, thinking it's ok. This mentality seems to be tolerated at this establishment. I don't know how to describe how completely horrible this rat nest bar is. Please don't bother. It's by far the worst in Brandon/Valrico. My very unpleasant bar tender kicked me out because I had a sleeping service dog under my seat. Come on people, is this the type of business you want in your neighborhood?? Not me

First and foremost, the only "threat" towards your bartender was that I would convey my grievance to the "owner". Second, you and your bartender have no right or standing to accuse that my dog is not a service dog. Because of my medical condition, it is not safe for me to leave the house without her. A hidden gem! I've been going here for 3 decades, and Jenn is a permanent fixture. Jenn is the ultimate best!

The wings are awesome, and feel free to order wingys or drummies if that's what you want, they will accommodate. My husband only likes the wingys and I only like the drummies, so when you order different flavors, not a problem, they will break up your order the way you want it.

The only downside to the restaurant is that they do allow smoking, so if you're offended by the smell of smoke, order take out.

They have online trivia, pool tables, dart boards, a jukebox, etc. This is what neighborhood bars were like and should be. A place for new and old friends to catch up with a drink,...
