Wish I could give a negative star. Worst experience of my life. I previously had microblading done at another place and unfortunately this person has been on medical leave and not sure when she was going to return. With that being said Missy’s Ink was recommended by several people, so I scheduled an appointment to have my touch up done with her. On appointment day Missy told me that microblading didn’t seem to work for me and she highly recommended me doing a powder brow instead. With her being the professional I went with the powder brow, which was the worst thing I did. Missy had my eyebrows so uneven I felt like crying when I got home. When I was at her location I kept telling her I felt my eyebrows weren’t even, she said we’ll take a picture and you can see them better. Picture was taken (head being tilted) and of course they looked fine. I was instructed to wash them once I got home, which I did and again saw the unevenness of her work. I text Missy and she couldn’t see what I was taking about still. She only saw one little corner that needed a little adding to. I explained to her how unhappy I was and she wanted me to return the same day for her to add to that corner, the problem was bigger than that. I told her to let me wait the four weeks and see what happens. Of course nothing changed and I was so embarrassed having two different eyebrows . I had to buy products to correct them until I could get them repaired. Missy never once checked in on me to see how things were going and how I was feeling. With that being said, I had to find someone else to make repairs to my eyebrows because I couldn’t live with this, it was so bad. I texted Missy once I had them repaired because I felt she needed to know. She did apologize and said I didn’t give her a chance to repair them so it’s not her fault. Now, why would I give her a second chance when she totally messed me up the first time and had no care in the world to follow up to see how things were? I told her I was going to write a google review because I feel people need to know because apparently I’m not the only one this has happened to, and this is your face she’s working on. Once I told her that she basically said I wrecked her day and that she hopes I can live with myself. Well ok because I’ve had to deal with a bad eyebrow job for the past two months. I just say beware of who’s doing work on your face. My repair job came out amazing! Please beware of Missy’s Ink because she cost me an additional $650 to have them repaired. I had mine corrected at Institute of Professionals in Permanent Makeup in Brandon, FL. Maria is an RN and she is very experienced. She doesn’t only do repairs, she does eyebrows for those that are looking for their first microblading job. As of tonight, basically Missy has threatened my job because of my negative post on her Facebook page and google. It’s a shame you pay someone for a service in an area that is so displayed in every aspect of your life and then they want to threaten your livelihood that has nothing to do with the service...

Missy, I thought you might like some feedback on my experience yesterday.

Let’e start with your physical location. I found your studio to be calm, warm , inviting and professional. The decor was tasteful and stylish. Unlike so many offices of the same type, it was large and open and gave a great feeling of elegance. So many times offices for facials and the like are tight and closed in. i appreciated the open feeling.The only thing that might have made it better was to have soft music playing in the background, and maybe you did.

You and Lejeana were very professional in your dress and attitude and I felt at ease and enjoyed our interactions. In fact, though we’ve known each other for over 10 years, I feel we have formed a new bond and look forward to our future relationship.

The actual procedure was a piece of cake. The discomfort level at worst was maybe a 5-6 in the corners of my eyes, but most of the time (90-95%) was 4 or below. The use of the cool water made my eyes feel better and you might want to use the little stream of water more. That felt really good. I had decided to tell no one, but Ed to see if anyone noticed, and no one seemed to notice that I looked any different, and that was a plus for the being able to have no down time. It was as if I had just lined my eyes as normal. The most difficult part of the after care is getting the ointment on the tattoos, it seems hard to get it to spread easily. As soon as I got home, I iced and took a couple of Tylenol and I was great. The heaviness around the eyes eased up. Today I notice this morning that my lids were swollen a bit and it would have been nice to have the time to ice again, but my day didn’t allow that. All in all it was az great experience and I am most pleased with the results. Your technique was superb.

I had previously gotten my eyebrows microbladed three times with a different artist, at a different place. Even though they were better than my natural eyebrows, I was never quite happy with the result because to me I felt like they didn’t match. After sending a photo of my brows, I voiced my concerns with Missy on the phone, and we came to the conclusion that I needed to fix the issue with a powder brow. Upon entering her studio space, I felt extremely welcome and comfortable, and feeling reassured by the air of professionalism, the organization, cleanliness and safety practices in place. Missy is extremely thorough in everything she does, from reading your questionnaire to ensure the best possible outcome. She also took the time to explain all the different types of eyebrow enhancements, I had no idea there were so many types! When she did her tattooing, it was quite obvious not only does she take pride in her work, but she truly wants to make a difference in her client’s lives! She takes every step possible to ensure that she has done the best job possible, and she truly wants her clients to be thrilled with the results.
