Iām going to start this review by Saying I prefer Publix over Krogerās for most of my shop needs ,however I went into Krogerās on sprout Springs Road at 9:30 AM on Monday morning January 25,I went to the customer service desk to cash a money order that I was holding for my dental appointment and the young lady stated that she could not cash my money order that I will have to take it back to Publix which I know was not the truth because I had cash the money order there previously and I knew that the money would be cash however after proving her wrong she decided that she would take $70 of the $200 money order that I cashed. The young lady did not count my money back she sat the money down on the counter with some change on top I proceeded to pick the money up put it in my purse and I left being that I had to go to my dentist appointment and did not think to count the money after I completed my dentist appointment I realize that I did not have the complete $200 that $70 of the money was missing I went back to the store I requested for a manager he came down I told him who the employee was.He stated that she was on lunch break and that he will get the register and counting down to see if there was any overage, I told him the money is not there I noticed sheās already taking it out.He wen to count in the register of course the money was not there then he stated I have cameras I can pull them I said please do he was upstairs all but 10 minutes and came back down and said that he didnāt see her take the money and I asked him how could you run a camera back that fast to know if she took my money.So I then asked him are you just gonna allow her to steal my money and thatās just it he said that it was nothing he could do I didnāt stated that I am going to call the Gwinnett county police department and file and press charges against the young lady for taking my money because I knew that she took it and did not give me all of my money simply because she did not count my money back out to me to verify the amount that was due to me she also did not give me a receipt.I didnāt request it for Gwinnett county to come however hall county had to come or the other county had to come to file my police report I am requesting for Krogerās corporate office to look into this which I know the department and police department will and I hope that she could never ever teak from another customer again I will no longer shop at this Krogerās I will continue to go to Publix where I know that my experience and the customer service is always top notch. I also have a full case number and an investigation team that is looking into the matter so I hope and pray that she is reprimanded and or fired for stealing from...

Walked in to get deli turkey and waited 10 minutes and it was only a social event between the slicer and Customer. Moved over to the vegetable section to get local tomatoes and nothing was there. Had Roma, heirloom, vine and organic but no spot for local. The stockman who didn't speak English went to the organic bin and showed me the label and they were local. Why are they in the organic bin? No answer and I didn't look at them. Walked to the Customer Service desk and somebody walks up and I get 2 words and he cuts me off for an outside call. After a couple of minutes walked off and asked for a manager. While talking to her the C/S Rep was still on the phone and socializing was still going on at the deli. The veggie stocker ran and got local tomatoes but still put them in the organic bin. Whohoo the Manager comped me 2 tomatoes. All Krogers pre-slice deli meat twice a day. The cooler was behind the. The Manager told me it was moved across the deli meats to the hot section. No signs no nothing after walking in circles. She said they were remodeling the last few days and Customers had pointed out there was no signs and were upset. So why had nothing been done? She told them then to put up signage. I did finish up as little shopping I could to leave because I've decided to move my shopping business elsewhere other than the Pharmacy. As I was leaving I pointed out to the Manager that the socializing at the deli was still going on with the Customer and meat slicer 30 minutes later. I'm sure this location and Kroger corporate will ignore this but I will spread the word about them and other Krogers in my area. They are American owned and that's why I've been loyal to them but I will explore other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is describing an ongoing incident that occurred May 8th where my wife and I just finished loading our purchases in the car when one of the grocery carts being collected by a Kroger employee gets away from him striking the side of our car (while we are in it!!)ā¦ā¦ I get out the car of course alarmed and upset to have the young associate at first deny the event just happened denting our Vehicle (Note cart still sitting against my car)ā¦Now understandably upset I demand he have his manager come out to document the incidentā¦ā¦ All this would not be a big deal if from here we were made whole and treated fairlyā¦.Brian the Manager took a statement and talked with us as to what seemed at first to be a normal processā¦..This has Not been the case at all! The Ins adjuster for the store can never be reached no matter when you call, and yesterday after finally getting a call back speaking with Calvin from Sedgewick Ins I could not believe how the conversation went as if we were at fault for our car being damaged by a Negligent action of a Kroger employee after already reviewing the entire incident with Brian(Kroger Manager) who stated he reviewed a video and spoke with his employee involved with the incidentā¦. Case closed we thoughtā¦
Conclusion I still have no idea if we are going to be made whole and this whole experience certainly has been half aā not at all what I expected from a company I have been a lifetime customer, former employee in the 90ās and now I manage a business who works with customers and insurance claims for a living I certainly empathize with my own customers claims experiencesā¦ā¦.
Brian has not followed up with me nor has Calvin, Very disappointed and surprised at this point to have this negative experience with Krogerā¦.or anyone...
