I must say that i did enjoy my stretch experience and the stretch staff did seem to be pretty knowledgeable. That said the management customer service skills are lacking! I signed up and the initial subscription is for three months. Realizing that my schedule didnât make sense to pay for the subscription and drop ins work better for me, I tried to cancel my subscription. You have to speak to management in order to cancel. Not knowing this, at the time, I canceled, in person, after one of my sessions. The gentlemen was very helpful and said that I have to cancel through management and gave me the email to reach out. I did and received a quick response from the assistant manager, Daniel (Dan) asking why I wanted to end my wellness journey, as well as trying to convince me to stay. I very politely replied, saying it just doesnât make sense with my ever changing schedule and would prefer to make appointments as I see fit. I also asked if they can please send over confirmation of cancellation. Never heard a response back. I was charged again!! Of course, now Iâm upset about the situation. I sent an email, asking about the situation and why I was never sent a confirmation and was told that I didnât cancel within the proper time frame. A simple email response would have stopped me from leaving two bad reviews. I was trying to cancel but had to jump through hoops to do so! The same individual replied with a manager title, this time. I called to speak to someone about the charges and why I never received a confirmation of cancellation. Daniel conveniently got promoted when I asked to speak to his supervisor. As someone who has been in customer service for 20+ yrs, I am not impressed. After reading other peoples reviews, I learned I wasnât alone in this. I absolutely do not recommend signing up for the subscription. As they make it very...
Read moreStretchLab has become a key part of my health and wellness routine. I did a trial stretch before the Brea location opened, and I was sold! I've had chronic hip pain for the past 13 years (joined by lower-back pain in the past year), and in my search for the cause and relief (which, over the years has included physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture), I decided to give StretchLab a try. I'm glad I did. I've been going once a week for 50 minutes for the past 8 months, and I have less pain. I've also seen my mobility improve (and I'm already a pretty fit and flexy person, so I wasn't expecting to see that, but the evidence is right there on the MAPS assessment machine every few weeks).
Dre, the Lead Flexologist is my go-to flexologist. He knows his stuff, is an anatomy geek, is a good listener, and is willing to put in the time and patience to adjust stretches to find just the right angle to get "the gold" out of it for me. Noelle is another Flexologist I've worked with the most. She's very attentive and has great technique.
One of the great things about StretchLab is that every time you go, it doesn't matter which Flexologist you work with, they know your case and are ready to meet your body wherever you left off the previous session while also being attentive to what your body is up to that day.
Overall, I love having a friendly, welcoming place in the neighborhood that's become such a regular, important part of my "self-care." I look forward to my sessions and how good...
Read moreThese people obviously get paid by the hour and not on commission. I walked in because I am interested in their service and wanted to know more about plans and pricing. There were 5 therapists and another guy behind the counter at the front door when I walked in, I looked around the room and said "hey" when I entered, but not a single one of them acknowledged I was there. Assuming the "counter guy" was finishing something up, I sat down on a small bench that is positioned in front of the counter, less than 4 feet in front of him. After 8-10 minutes of being ignored I walked out. Nobody ever said a word, not when I entered or when I left. The therapists were all playing slap-ass and trying to one-up each other with knowledge of anatomy, and the counter guy was clueless. I'm still interested, but I'll go to the Anaheim Hills location and see if I can find better service. It's a shame because I live in Brea.
UPDATE Sept/2025 - I did finally make it to the Anaheim Hills location of Stretch Lab. WOW, what a different experience. The moment I walked in the door I was welcomed, helped and ultimately able to get advised on packages and services. I bought a 3pack and made appointments. The following day I returned for my first appointment (with Katy) and immediately was assessed then went right to a table for my session. Thank you to everyone at Stretch Lab...
