Teaspoon Brea — Restaurant in Brea

Came here on the whim today because I needed to charge my car and meet up with a friend. Haven't been in downtown Brea in a long time.. since high school/college days... I was also craving tea drinks. Glad to find this place. The drinks are so tasty!

Location - downtown brea.

Parking - street or structure parking (free)

Interior decor - clean and simple with cute seasonal Christmas theme. Love the teaspoon logo on wall. The store is very spacious with several tables. There's also patio seating too.

Drinks - I ordered the mango drink for my kids and the Dirty Ube for myself. My girls loved the mango drink. As for the Dirty Ube, I love ube, coffee, and milk tea so this drink was the best of all three worlds. For these mixed drinks, they suggest that you mix it up once you are ready to drink it. When mixed, It has a unique clean/smooth taste. You can tell they use quality ingredients. In the beginning, you can taste each section even when mixed which was pleasantly nice. Later, it kind of taste like a light chocolate coffee tea flavor (this can just be me) which i liked because I love chocolate too. I did buy other drinks but bought them for other people as gifts.

Additional plus is that they make the drinks so pretty! My friend said it looks so nicely made that he didn't want to shake it up. Haha.

Service - the service was excellent. They were so nice and helpful. Also patient with us since it was our first time here, we took a bit trying to decide what to order. After we came, two large groups came in to order. With that being said, they made our drinks quickly which i was impressed.

Overall - I would highly recommend...

A friend introduced me to their Davis location when I was in Norcal. I thought it was a pretty good boba location up north so I was excited to give this location a try when they opened two weeks ago.

Ordered the standard house milk tea as a baseline to see if they make good milk tea. Also ordered the creamy jasmine since they didn't make the drink I had at Davis, I just went with something similar and she enjoyed the drink so it was all good. The service was relatively quick even with a long queue we were able to get our drinks in under 10 minutes time. Even saw a dude who probably frequented a teaspoons location that did an really customized drink that the staff had to ask the manager how to make cause it had a custom tea off their full menu and not pre-made so that was intriguing to watch.

Flavor of the drinks was still quality and not overly sweet and the fragrance of the jasmine milk tea was definitely there. The place was pretty clean and simply decorated with their merch near the entrance so...

From the colorful walls to the spacious seating, Teaspoon invites its patrons to enjoy their drinks and pastries in a delightful space. The workers were quick on their feet and prepared to give recommendations as needed. Decided to try their Matcha Royale - Strawberry and the Black Sugar Assam. The Matcha Royale lacked flavor compared to most matchas found around the SoCal area. The Black Sugar Assam held a strong flavor and was drinkable. The lids were quite flimsy and so were the straws.
