When I first wrote this review it was a four star, but after thinking about it for a day, and visiting some other rinks in salt lake city, I have come back to drop it to a two. The rink itself is pretty small, and there are tons of little spots where the ice has massive lumps which makes it hard/dangerous to skate over. We were also forced out twenty minutes before closing, at 8:35-8:40 ish for them to take the zamboni out onto it. I dont understand why they couldn't have waited until 9 which is when they said they'd close. It was also extremely, extremely expensive. 20$ to skate (including rentals) and 16$ without rentals. The olympic oval in salt lake city cost me ten (which included rentals) and my friend six dollars to skate on. They closed at the time they said they would and didn't force us out so they could leave earlier. Wayy better experience. If you want a great skating experience and are passing through Northern Utah, dont waste your time and money here. Go to the olympic oval...
Read moreIt’s a nice facility, but not ready to be open and not just because of warm weather, they are really understaffed and none of the staff was wearing any identifiable jersey or way to see who was an employee. Like all risky sports, there is a liability waiver which is fine, but they have zero injury protocol, which is shocking at a resort and says volumes about their training, staff protocols and responsiveness.
I mentioned to the staff that my wife had fallen and hit her head and their response was “sorry”. Every business has a statutory duty to care to customers and this interaction the staff failed completely, making that liability waiver worthless, something Brian Head ownership should review in their safety protocols.
I learned later that they are issued bright yellow vests for employees; none were wearing them. There are multiple failures in basic duty to care present in the business and as a result, caution is warranted before visiting...

My daughter couldn't even get started and kept slipping, even while she was trying to hold the brace that is supposed to hold you up. Slipping on that ice with NO help from the business was traumatic for her. When we asked for a refund, the manager Cade refused and hung up on me on the phone. A lot of money down the drain for us, and he took no concern for us whatsoever. No attention to liability issues, and the information is blank on the website on what they do about liability issues (as of...
