We have been researching for ADA accommodations in Brianhead and the unit we stayed in was advertised as such and even had photos of a bathtub with grab rails. There’s an elevator that looks very antique but, it worked quickly and even though it was tight, we managed. Lol- The entire place needs TLC and even though we had to manage a wheelchair down 4stairs to get into the unit, the entrance door was wide enough. Once we were able to access the common areas, we were able to use a shower down by the pool, but it would’ve been nicer to have been able to have had the accommodations that we were sold when we made the choice to stay there. There are much nicer places to stay in Brianhead that do really have ADA. This place is old & needs a make over. It’s super cute amenities probably loured the poor owners into thinking it would be managed by the hoa.Sadly, with the majority of the owners not living there, even the updated units owners probably don’t take part in the hoa management of the place. It looks like it used to be a darling property that didn’t get proper maintenance but it also looks to have been Very cheaply built in the beginning. It’s not a recommended place for a wheelchair. There are minor repairs throughout that could really spruce the place up. Owners of HOA’s need to get involved. They will probably continue to see a rise in monthly dues, which are pretty hefty. There’s a tear in the ceiling above the stairwell, paint peeling everywhere. It’s cheap, dumpy and still has charm and potential. Rental properties just don’t get cared for like those that are lived in do. Our room seemed to get cleaned regularly, the bedding was fresh there were tons of towels and plenty of blankets. Once we figured out the window unit it got cooler and it was a quiet nights rest. We did not see a lot of people and it was a little spooky. There are 10am-10pm pool hours. Everything is locked and without a key, you cannot use the restrooms. Just be aware of your safety and until you actually see it with your own eyes, you might want to be prepared for the possibilities. There are very nicely decorated units, but if I were purchasing one, I wouldn’t want the run down common areas and the crap behind the walls when it was built cheaply. This is why it didn’t hold up well, though minor repairs could really boost the appearance. It becomes more expensive to maintain cheaper builds. Our stay was rough, the property has charm with a pool, hot tub, sauna and a ton of stairs. If the elevator didn’t work we wouldn’t have been able to get to our room. All the rooms are upstairs. It’s just an old place. Beware of false pictures and details about...
Read moreNot a very nice place in general. It was probably nice decades ago when it was first build, but over the years it has become run down and poorly maintained. This is our SECOND time visiting this complex and the Jacuzzi was broken BOTH times during our 4 night stays in Mar 2021 and Mar 2022. Management just hangs a sign on the outside door that says 'Jacuzzi broken - parts on order.' This major issue was brought to the attention of management and the condo owner (Scott), but apparently over a years time nothing was done to fix the broken Jacuzzi (although they continue to advertise it on their websites). The unit we stayed in, Royal King Suite, was also in poor condition in need of replacement appliances, fixtures and a thorough cleaning. Some of the bed sheets were stained and had hair. The overhead stove microwave, light and fan were broken (replaced with just a small countertop microwave). The master bathroom shower/tub was riddled with mold/mildew and the corners of the floor was caked on with dirt. The couches had trash and hair between the cushions and the entire unit was dusty and not cleaned properly. We contacted the owner of the unit and described all the problems we encountered, but his response was basically - sorry for the trouble, it's not my fault, the unit is clean and in 'like new' condition. Beware!

The design of the condo is very visually pleasing. The general utilities (fridge, oven, etc.) work fine. However there were a few issues that truly left the experience less than satisfying. When our company of 10 arrived into our condo after a frigid long day of skiing, the entire place was barley 50 degrees. We quickly learned that the fireplace was broken and unusable, as well as the hot tub (which all of the children had been very much looking forward too). As we were making do of the situation, turning up every thermostat in each room, we discovered that the windows had been cracked, allowing the freezing 7 degree weather to seep in. However, despite all the adversity we had faced, we managed to retain hope. The condos had a shared pool that was open to everyone, and we had heard rumor of a hot tub there. This sole aspect of our visit gave us the strength to carry on. Two of the younglings had put themselves up to the challenge of finding the supposed hot tub. After about a half-an-hour struggle, (and a few accidental trespassing into other condos….don’t worry no one was bothered) they managed to stumble across the pool……..just to learn the hot tub was….real, the stories were true. Only….it was taped off. And just like that, all our hopes, all our dreams…we’re…gone. Vanished, dashed in a heartbeat. And this my friends, is the purpose for the two star review. A broken fireplace, a derelict hot tub…we’re these the conditions we had payed full price to live it? Nay. Nay my friends. This is the tale of the two star...
