I wish I had read the awful reviews of this place before dropping $230 on a horribly ill fitting rental tux and if I could give them a zero star rating you can bet I would. I wanted to buy a custom made suit but the first woman I talked to upon entering the shop talked me out of it stating it was probably out of my price range. I was flabbergasted that she had the audacity to assume something like that, but I let it go because it was clear she was going to pass me off to the next employee and I didn’t have time to waste. Let’s get a few things straight, I’m a female who was given the green light to wear a suit or tux as a bridesmaid in my cousin’s wedding because dresses just aren’t my thing. But I like form fitted clothes. I’ve never worn a formal suit, only female pant suits which are very different from men’s and I wanted something more formal for the event and I was looking for some guidance from someone who truly knows suits/tuxes. The woman taking my measurements couldn’t be bothered to hold a conversation. Upon getting measured for the rental, I felt a little better about the direction of where the situation was headed and I left thinking that the oversized items I tried on would be fitted to the measurements taken in the shop. Boy was I wrong. The only way I can describe this outfit is that it looks like I am a child who wanted to play dress up in her dad’s clothes. Upon expressing my upset (specifically with the jacket), the woman working the rental section (who had taken my measurements days before) stated that she felt the next size down looked too small on me and that they don’t alter anything but pants and stated that I wouldn’t be wearing the jacket long anyway. Pretty weird of an assumption to make, in my opinion. So now it’s the day before the wedding and I have no choice but to wear this awful excuse of an outfit to an event that will be heavily photographed and immortalized forever. I’m embarrassed, to say the least, and I will never recommend Men’s Wearhouse to anyone I care about because I believe people deserve to look and feel their best and it’s incredibly clear that this establishment only cares about the money coming in, not that their...
Read moreWorst experience ever getting my groomsmen suit!!! Got fitted for a suit in March for a wedding in the end of August and explained to them that I was losing weight and maybe I should go for a smaller size but was told to get fitted for my current size and that I will be able to exchange anything I need to down the road and to not worry and come back in May for my final fitting. Fast forward to May and my suits loose on me and my dress shirt is way oversized on me and I explained that I'm still losing weight and was told a smaller shirt will be ordered and to come back in the beginning of July for the final fitting. July comes around and I go in for the final fitting and get told to come back in the beginning of August for my final fitting instead. So today comes around and I go in for my final fitting and my dressshirt is humongous on me now and I asked about the smaller shirt I was promised and I was told that they aren't able to get the shirt anymore and my only option was to pay $65 for a shirt that doesn't fit me or order a shirt that's a different color than the rest of the wedding party and was told "don't worry about it no one will notice it including the bride" I was shocked when I was told that! This was a horrible experience all around and I will make it a point that any future wedding parties I am part of never does any business with...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I entered the store looking for her father who was trying on dress shirts. We were promptly asked if we needed any help and responded “no thank you”. We waited around for a while, checking out the store when the sales woman asked again “Do you need any help” which my girlfriend again denied. About 10 minutes later we were approached by the manager (I think?), who asked if we needed help and we explained we were looking for her dad. He stated that the sales woman said we were rude and he does not tolerate disrespect. We were given a lecture on how we should respect the employees in such a fine establishment. At first I thought he was joking and as the rant stretched into the 25 sec mark I knew this guy was actually serious. We were both utterly confused and promptly apologized for something we did not understand. We no longer felt welcome and left without even finding her dad. Rude employees. Unbelievable. If I could give them 0 stars I would....
