Approximately ten years ago, I relocated to the 3 Rivers region. The previous owner of the property I purchased suggested that I switch from Dead River Company for heating services. However, after acquiring the property, I opted to remain with Dead River for the sake of convenience. As a valued customer, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the services provided by Dead River Company establishment. The staff have absolutely no respect for their customers. They have absolutely no communication skills to speak of. The company provided annual servicing for the heating system. However, a recent inspection i recived a Red Flag; an issue with the pipe bonding that should have been identified during the previous six years of service. Additionally, we experienced heating system failure during a Nor'easter storm, and the response from Dead River was inadequate, with no immediate solution offered until the following month. I am writing to express my concern regarding the recent issues with appointment scheduling that have resulted in my absence from work for approximately one week total( not all at once). The lack of effective communication between Dead River and myself has been the primary cause of these disruptions. The office staff, particularly those responsible for scheduling and service appointments and the service manager exhibit a concerning lack of professionalism. Their conduct raises serious questions about the organization's ability to maintain its business operations effectively. I would advise not recommending this company to potential customers seeking heating/oil/propane services. Read moreIf you have another company as an option go with that. This company takes advantage of new customers. They don’t tell you important info so then they can charge you extra fees and when you tell them they never explain it to you. They say “Well now you know so take this charge as a learning lesson”. I shouldn’t have to pay out of my pocket to learn things you should tell new customers. Maybe send your customers an info packet instead of leaving them in the dark and blaming the customer and charging them for it. Highly don’t not recommend.

Called to get a delivery and paid ahead, only to have them come out twice in one day to deliver, and both times they had the access to and no reason not to but just didn’t bother! Made us wait two more days to come back when we were already running on fumes because they’re so incompetent and unprofessional!
