As the last review said, great little spot downstairs with bar games and alternative options to beer. But you come here for the beer. Had Jon’s on tap IPA (P.Bay). Good finish, with a farm scent upfront. Nice body for a 6%. Definitely worth it to stop in if you are in the area and want to grab a brew. He serves panini’s as well if you need some non-liquid carbs. I’d give his bar a 4.5 if Google would give me that option so hitting the 5-stars because it’s a cool place. Beer was good — wish regular pint glasses were used instead of paper cups, but COVID makes everything weird. Staff wasn’t too friendly — they were having conversations of their own during our order and didn’t engage with us about the beer or the brewery. delicious beers and great atmosphere. The overall tone of this place is fantastic. Jon has done a great job growing from the little hole-in-the-wall place he started at to this location, years ago, without loosing the feel of a personable watering hole. His beers are top-notch.
