Today we visited Gina’s Place in Bristol, NH, for breakfast, and overall, we had a great experience. It was our first time there, and we could immediately sense the welcoming, local feel of the diner.
I ordered “The Basic” (two over-medium eggs, rye toast, and home fries) with a Belgian waffle. My wife had the Mexican omelet, and our daughter enjoyed a chocolate chip pancake topped with whipped cream and real maple syrup—which we appreciated having as an option over imitation syrup.
My meal was satisfying. The eggs were cooked as requested, and the waffle was crisp around the edges, which I liked—though it wasn’t especially fluffy. The whipped salted butter was a standout and complemented the waffle nicely. I personally prefer home fries to be seasoned or sautéed with onions or peppers; these were more plain, just browned potatoes. Not bad, just a matter of taste.
My wife's omelet had good flavor, but it would have been even better if the fillings (peppers, tomatoes, sausage) were cooked into the eggs rather than folded in afterward. Again, something to ask about based on your preferences.
The highlight of the meal was the chocolate chip pancake. It was absolutely delicious—light, fluffy, and indulgent. Even my wife, who usually isn’t a fan of pancakes, said it was the most delicious pancake she’s ever had.
What really stood out was the atmosphere. The diner has a cozy, familiar vibe, and the staff clearly have great rapport with their regulars. The waitress was warm and attentive, and you could tell this is a place that people return to for both the food and the service.
We’d definitely recommend Gina’s Place—and encourage first-time visitors to ask about how items are prepared if you have a particular style you prefer. It’s a charming local spot worth...

Freshly baked, hot, fresh, +++ Home fries: not greasy, well cooked, taste very fresh Coffee: eh....not great but food was sooo good totally overshadowed it. Menu: kinda small with not a lot to choose from, the food is great so no matter what get will be good! Very, very small inside Call ahead make sure a spot will be available! Great place to give a try! Easy access, right off 104 as enter Bristol center Amendment- had the SOS (biscuits and gravy), was the best I’ve had in area, the gravy was so flavorful and the biscuit was fresh and warm- everything was just perfect so getting rid that -1* for small size, the food is just so good it doesn’t matter that location is...

We even went back another day, it was crazy busy and they still cooked them correctly. Everything was cooked well, coffee was always filled and the staff has a personality. Inexpensive but...
