O'Reilly Auto Parts — Local services in Broken Bow

I wanted to share something that helps restore my faith in true Customer Service. Today was NOT the day for my vehicle battery to die; I was miles from home and there were two tired kids in the back seat. We all just wanted to be home but it was still three hours away. I stopped at O'Reilly's in Broken Bow and was greeted by a smiling staff who said, "How can we help you today?" They didn't seem to mind the kids and I were having a meltdown (literally and figuratively)! A gentleman behind the counter, 'Tony', seemed okay with my generic explanation of 'I think my battery is almost dead.' (I think he gets that a lot). A quick test and he confirmed my elementary diagnosis. We waited in the store where it was cool where the kids watched Tony remove and replace the battery. If no stars was an option I would've picked that, but it wasn't so one star it is. Our car was broken down in the Walmart parking lot. We understood the car had to be in their parking lot for help. Fine, understandable. The employees working on Thursday, July 20, 2021 were EXTREMELY rude and very unhelpful. They were more concerned with what slushie they were going to get and what they were going to eat from Sonic. We went back in to ask if a battery can be tested while the car is on (We learned it cannot) and the dark haired man at the counter huffed and puffed like he was going to blow our house DOWN. Even though, that's literally his job. He was VERY put out with us even asking for assistance. You would think being on a busy road in a tourist destination they would all be more helpful and not so rude but that wasn't the case. WOULD...

Can’t say much about all the staff here but one gentleman that works here, took the time to really help us out when we were in a major bind.
