Smith’s Good Eats — Restaurant in Broken Bow

We ordered the chicken fried steak and it was kind of bland (we’re from Texas , we like flavor ) but for the price, I can’t complain too much The burger was good ! Chicken tenders again could use some seasoning. We love the mom and pop feel We had amazing service from a lady who I’m not sure her name but she has a tattoo up the back of her neck and a dermal on her face ( sorry that’s my only description) but she was 100 percent attentive even with how full they were When we came in they apologized for the dirty floors because of how slammed they were ( they weren’t that dirty ) but shows they care about cleanliness normally.

This restaurant offers either breakfast or lunch, they close in the afternoon. We arrived during lunch time which was busy and became even busier. We had a good experience and walked away full. It wasn't like walking away where you are stuffed to the gills but it's enough to fill you up to face the rest of your work day. I ordered the grilled cheese that came with bacon and grilled onions. They were generous with the bacon. My partner ordered the chicken bacon avocado wrap and we had a large order of fries. The fries were the frozen variety, crinkle cut. They were the only disappointing feature of the meal but since their food prices are reasonable we didn't worry about it. If you like great home cooked meals with lightening fast service served hot and fresh in a down home atmosphere this is an ideal place to visit. When we travel we like to eat off the major food chains. The majority of the time you will find the spots that locals frequent and find why they do. Smith’s Good Eats was no exception and in fact would rate towards the top five percent of establishments we have ever visited. Definitely a ten out of ten and we live two hours away and we will make circuitous route to eat here often.
