We stayed at Living Water Cabin in Broken Bow for a birthday weekend with 12 people, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. We brought groceries all the way from Dallas to cook a special celebration dinner for two friends—but the stove blew up on our first night and was completely unusable for the rest of our stay.
Maintenance came but could not fix the stove, leaving us without the ability to cook any meals. We had to change our plans last minute and take our entire group to a casino for dinner, spending $300 just to salvage the weekend.
The owner showed no real willingness to make it right, offering only $50 total for 12 guests as “compensation,” which felt insulting given the major disruption...
