This is my 3rd time here in the past few months and while I love the store and the sales, the older woman that works there (maybe a manager) has been SO rude every single time. The first time I was trying to return a vest I got for Christmas and she was not helpful in trying to find a different size she just said order it on the computer if it's not in the store and walked away. The next time I was waiting to check out and she was folding clothes and literally talking about how bad corporate was with their policy changes and what a joke it was all while watching a line of people form when she could have checked us out rather than using that time to talk down about the place she worked. Today was the last straw... I came in to return some items I purchased online and she asked if I had the plastic they came in. I told her I didn't and she huffed and said "well, everything needs to go back to the other location and needs to be in plastic." I had never heard this and never been asked this before. She finally asked what my order number was and stated the return. Then she went over and got plastic to put all the pieces in and then literally chucked everything on the back counter like she didn't give a crap about any of them. If you don't like your job, there are plenty of other places hiring. Every time I go and see her working I try and avoid her but she just really brings down the energy in that store. Based on other people's reviews I see I'm not...
Read moreI love Lands End products and do most of my shopping online because it’s easier and I can find exactly what I want. The problem with Lands End is that in order to return items you have to take them to the store or you will be charged return shipping (ridiculous!!). I have returned to this store twice. Every time I return something here the sales associate gives me a bad time. I have only returned unworn (besides being tried on) items with a receipt. It should be a simple transaction. Instead I am met with attitude. The cheap plastic bags that items are shipped with (like plastic film basically that each item is packed in inside the box), that are basically garbage and ripped once you open them. You better not forget to try and shove your item back into that ripped up bag, because for some reason the sales associate will give you a hard time for that (has happened two out of the two times I have returned). And you can’t just say you don’t like something, nope you have to give them all sorts of details. Also have to fill out their return slip with all their codes etc. For items I paid for that don’t work for me that are in brand new condition still, I don’t appreciate being treated like I am ripping the company off by returning them. Lands end hands down is one of the hardest places to return items too, not sure if it’s company wide or this store. The hassle of returning items makes me think twice about ordering any Lands End products...
Read moreThis store has had amazing clothes that I always order in two sizes in mass quantities. I usually have no problem with returning the sizes that don’t fit my body the way I want them to. Todays experience and the Brookfield Blue mound location I was told I couldn’t return an item because it wasn’t in the computer. I had my shipping documents that the previous cashier who was amazing had been crossing out and circling each shirt that I returned. I was told I could return two shirts. Not the other. The staff member bombarded me with questions until she finally said you know what I’ll just take these and give you this. She took all three tank tops and gave me my receipt. I got money back for two of my tank tops. And not the other one. The other one that she told me I couldn’t return. This is a problem I’ve never had before. I have my order on paper that I bring when I make a return and I was told it was essentially useless and the computer was what was right. I lost my money and I don’t think I can continue to shop here anymore. This lady gave me my receipt and walked away moving on to the next customer before I could even say anything or ask any questions which to me implies she knew she was doing something wrong. This occurred on Saturday...
