Southern Pawn — Local services in Brookhaven

Once witnessed Guy and his staff at Southern Pawn, without ANY self-regard, run into a burning building and successfully save a baby and her 2 pet cats that were so close to the flames, it had already burned the hair off of their two tails! After personally tending to the wounded and flawlessly executing a daunting, complex, emergency medical procedure on one of the cats, Guy still managed to make a prompt return to the store and offer me nearly twice the amount of money for an old diamond ring I had brought in than any other gold and/or diamond buyer in the surrounding areas had previously offered me. In just a few short minutes that evening, I witnessed more kindness and selflessness than I believe I'll ever witness again in my entire life. I mean, it wasn't even a cute baby..AT ALL! ..and now looking back on it... ..now that I think about it.. ..those actually may not have even been cats.. yea I'm pretty sure those were just two random opossums he had found while saving the kid..

I have to say that this is the most friendly pawn shop that I have been to in quite some time. The store is a treasure trove for those that want to look and see what they can find. It has most everything from old movies to guns, silver, old pocket watches, heck they even have a table in the back for people to just hang out and talk about the world around them. They are by far my new favorite place to buy off the wall stuff that you can't find anywhere else. 5 stars all the...

The folks at Southern Pawn made me feel very comfortable and welcome the first time I entered the store.... Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and not pushy as some stores can be. Enjoyed the entire experience and cant wait to go back! These guys...
