There is so much to say about the poor service that I received from this dealership that I really don’t know where to start. To begin with, I dropped my car off on September 24th. Keep in mind that I called them before doing so to make sure it would be okay to drop it off. However, once I got there Caleb, who is not personable and borderline rude, told me that he didn’t know when they would be able to get to my car to see what’s wrong with it. Also, I couldn’t get a courtesy vehicle because they claimed not to have any available. From what I was told, the whole entire dealership only has 7, just 7 courtesy vehicles, which I honestly don’t believe. Luckily, I had someone to follow me to the dealership, so I had a ride home. After a week of my car just sitting there, they finally ran the diagnostics to determine the issues with my car on October 1st. Caleb calls using all this terminology that I don’t understand instead of simplifying the information to describe what’s going on with my car. He says that there are some parts that have to be ordered so on and so forth. I’m sort of desperate at this point so I have no other choice but to wait for the parts to fix my car. To sum it up, it ended up taking them a month to fix my car and during this time I had to pay someone to use their car for me to get to work. During this time, I constantly had to call to get updates about my vehicle. No one, not even the manager Cody, felt it was important enough for me to receive updates about the status of my car. When I called to speak with him, of course he was “busy” and had to give me a call back. When he did call me back, he gave me the same runaround as Caleb about my car. He said that my car was on the verge of mechanical failure which could cover a variety of issues. I also got the same line about them only having 7 courtesy cars and none were available at that time. When they were finally finished with my car on October 21st, I then got a call from Caleb saying that it was ready to be picked up like I’m supposed to just fly to Brookhaven at the drop of a dime with the $6243.51 that they charged me for repairs. I have a job that requires me to make arrangements before just taking off. Once I did pick up my car, there were several things that I noticed that were just shameful and pathetic. They left stains in my car, and they did not bother to put any air in my tires from the time they had my car. My oil was also on 89% which is puzzling because it should be on 100% if it was changed during the time they had my car. I know that I cannot prove it, but I truly believe they did something to my car to cause more issues with my car in order to charge me what they did. They only care about providing quality service to certain people. I will never purchase another vehicle from Stan King, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from...
Read moreI brought my 2017 Corvette in for a routine oil change at 19+ thousand miles on Friday July 7th. The service department did not do a good job of replacing the oil filter and I paid $94 for the oil change and left the dealership. When I got on I-55 south heading home my car had a big cloud of white smoke coming from behind it. I got off the interstate on the Hwy 84 exit and went back to the dealership and informed Caleb McDavid the advisor of what happened. He told me that I would have to leave the car to correct the problem. He assured me that the problem would be corrected and all of oil that was spilled would be replaced and the oil that blew out in the engine compartment and underneath the car would be cleaned up. The engine could have been severely damaged if I had not been paying close attention to what was going on. I received a call Monday July 10th and was told that my car was ready to be picked up. When I got to the dealership I opened the hood and there was oil still on the steering arm, engine block, fan belts, and other parts under the hood. I informed Caleb and he said that he would have to take the car to the department that washed the car and have them to clean it up, because it should have been cleaned already. I was not given a welcoming feeling about correcting the problem. After another 20 minutes or so the car was returned to me and I looked under the hood and I could still see oil on some of the parts. I assumed that the person I was talking to had done the clean up and he acted as if he didn't want to or have to clean it up good. At this point I did not have time to wait so that it could be taken again to the wash department. I left the dealership very dissatisfied with...
Read moreI bought a 2011 GMC Acadia here. Adam King was the one that sold me the vehicle. Clean car fax. The battery was dead on the car when I went to test drive it, also. Adam assured me something must have been left on. Everything was going smooth and I thought I was getting a good deal until the financing process at my bank. They informed me that Stan King gave me the wrong value on the vehicle because he gave me a write up for 25,000 when they were asking 18,900 on their website. My bank called them and they lowered the price and I purchased the car. A week or so later I was having some issues with the vehicle and took it to their repair shop where they replaced motor mounts and power steering pump. Fast forward about a year or so. I decided I wanted to trade my car in. I went to another dealership which informed me that my car had been in a major accident. WHAT? I went to Stan King where they printed off my car fax and there it was, MAJOR ACCIDENT. This information was NOT disclosed to me by Adam King. I requested a car fax, which he gave to me, FOR ANOTHER ACADIA. It was a major case of dealer fraud. Paxton King did not care that they screwed me on the vehicle and didn’t offer to make anything right. Turns out there’s an issue with the wiring in the vehicle which causes it to run dead if I don’t crank the car daily. I also had the air conditioning go out, traction control malfunction, and stabilitrak malfunction. I’m now consulting with a lawyer to see what my options are. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM...
