About two years ago I had a Subaru with a motor that kept spontaneously shutting off. Appeared to be an electrical or ECU problem, so I had it towed to Audy’s. They had had the car for two days before I finally called to ask its status. They told me they were still trying to diagnose the problem and had replaced the O2 sensor, but couldn’t figure it out. I was being charged $100 an hour for two days for nothing.
At the end of the third day, I stopped in without calling and found my car outside the bay and the service manager was inside watching videos on YouTube. I took my car, paid them nearly a grand for nothing but an O2 sensor, and went on my way. The car died again the next day. I ended up selling it as-is for a few hundred bucks. Then—this is the sugar on top—the service manager offered to sell me another car. I was astonished.

They said it was illegal in Massachusetts to have them tinted and I would have to remove ALL the tint on my car and then they could inspect it. I told them there was plenty of cars NEXT TO MINE with tinted windows and he still refused to see mine. Said he would lose his license if he did. My car windows are allow more than 35% of light in which is the legal requirement, and only the sides and rear windows are tinted because that’s LEGAL. So frustrated.
